I went the whole day barefoot yesterday. Class and all. Even to the vet! Now that I have a delivery route job, and barefoot weather is here to stay I'm thinking about ditching the shoes again (i had to buy some the other day because it was COLD and WET!)

Try barefooting in the cold and wet. It can be a nice change! Like you said in your other post to me, I'd love to live anywhere I can geet a job, a GF, and 24/7 barefoot. I dunno.......

As the days before, I went barefoot as usual on my way to work and back home, with a little hassle-free grocery shopping. It's fun to be barefoot in spring, with slightly chilly early mornings and almost early-summer feeling during the afternoon... last Sunday I went barefoot to the movies to enjoy two movies (of which the second was a bit of a disappointment... the remake of Clash of the Titans is just weak... at least both movies featured barefoot heroes). Now I am looking forward to this week ending, since I am facing a week off... and that will be a totally barefoot week, with nothing on my feet but anklets and toe rings.

    Wiggling happy toes,

My friends and I ran around like idiots at a school playground for a couple hours. I was barefoot. :)

Well, I guess 4 am counts as today, so I went to my backyard and wrote a poem.

Where is this place of hippie wonder? In Lawrence, KS, there aren't too many barefoot hippies, even though it's supposedly a hippie town. All the hippies wear flip flops now, regardless of how long their hair is or how tie-dyed their shirts are, or how dirty they are.

I went barefoot to campus and to Walgreens today. Not much of a day going out. I have a sprained ankle and needed a brace. It's helping, but it does feel kinda like a shoe. Oh well. It gives me an even greater excuse to go barefoot, perhaps even to more NS3 stores because I have a bum ankle!

Yes, indeed, by lexical definition, "today" means anything past 0.00 hrs. :D And that's a nicely different barefooting venue and pastime, too. It seems, that the star sign you were born under does have some influence... Aquarius people are among the most creative and sometimes (positively) craziest human beings I have come to know - and I have some experience, being one as well. ;)

Since yesterday was a rather regular and normal barefoot day, enjoying mild spring weather by having a cappucino and cola in a street café and afterwards doing some necessary shopping (even a hippie needs to buy toilet paper, occasionally :p ), my barefooting plans for today are a trip to my old home town (which isn't far from where I currently live) to check out the place where I grew up and see what changes may have occured there since the neighbouring coal mine was shut down.

And since I posted my plans for today on a German-speaking web forum on barefooting, a recent new member there (happening to be a very dear friend from my past - well, in the past she was more than just a friend, really :) ) has decided to meet me and have a little chat while sitting down in a café - hmm, another cappucino coming up, I guess. Since she's a professional barefooter (pro bellydance performer and teacher), it might be that she turns up barefoot, too. She knows that I am a barefooter and I made clear, that I will definitely be barefoot on my little trip. Perhaps we'll freak out the place together. Oh, funny coincidence, BTW: she's an Aquarius, too. No kidding!

    Wiggling toes in happy anticipation,

Well, I've been to my old home, as planned (see above) - full report on it in my journal.

Wiggling happy and a little nostalgic toes,

I was in Las Vegas over the weekend and stayed at the Luxor. After a long day walking up and down the strip, my wife and I would go to our room, get comfortable, and go down to the casino barefoot. We never had a problem. Vegas is all about money, and anything short of bare-ass naked will probably fly - as long as it looks like you're spending. Maybe bare-ass naked would fly as well - we just didn't try it. :D

I went to my grandma's, first time barefoot on public transport ^_^ Did some yardwork for her, then went to the bank, a few stores, and now back onto the bus to go home
