we're gonna schedule for an appointment in a couple days for a blood test at planned parenthood, we both feel that we just need to make sure of the result of the hpt. she's taking the second hpt on the morning of the appointment.

would it be better if we went to a doctor or clinic instead for a blood pregnancy test? because when i called planned parenthood they told me results would come in 7-10 days, maybe a little earlier if they got them but that seems long.

update: so today she is exactly two weeks late, she bled but it wasn't heavy. we tried to set up an appoint for a blood test tomorrow at pp but they were booked so its either we try and walk-in and get lucky, or schedule for after the weekend.

Like I said, it's likely just an irregular period. There's not really much other reason that she'd randomly start bleeding. I would say she probably just skipped the period that she was supposed to have last month for whatever, and she's starting her period for this month.
If she's bleeding again tomorrow (especially if she's bleeding more than she did today), I would say you're in the clear.

alright, we'll see tomorrow. there is something weird though, because she noticed brown discharge on her underwear when going to the bathroom. she started bleeding a little bit later, what exactly does this mean?

when you are young its normal to get that. it is basically the beginning of your period...even if its not yet due, this can happen 1 week before your period, it goes away, then you bleed. it is blood, and it doesnt smell too good either because its old blood.

or it could be an infection..tell her to eat plenty of yogurt, and drink lots of water, and cranberry juice. The yogurt helps to keep infections away, and the water keeps your body cleansed. The cranberry juice keeps away bladder infections. I know females have to go through alot. Take care.

    thanks auri.
just an update, she's been on her period for about 4 days now; she says its a littleee bit lighter than usual but i dont think it should be anything to worry about. we're gonna take the other hpt in a couple days again, just to make sure.
thanks for all the support everyone.

Seriously dude, next time relax a lot more. There is basically no chance of getting a girl pregnant if you use a condom correctly.
