layered psd into gif?

help! I have a layered photoshop document, how can i translate it into an animated gif? i have the layers numbered in sequence. what can I do?

Ummm... am I missing something? Why don't you just merge the layers and then save if as a gif?

 

Yea he wants to make an animated gif, so flattening wont help him, Check the help area, I for one have no idea.

 

Duh. Skim reading. Missed the 'animated' bit :&

 

Photoshop comes with Image Ready (packaged together)
With this you can make annimated gifs, with ease.
Check to see if you have Image Ready by going to
start~programmes~adobe~ (then search for Image Ready)
Without it you can't make annimated gifs unless you have
a web site capable of ''swapping / replacing'' boxed images,
stacked in sequence, on top of one another.

 

weird. i can see the folder for the adobe ImageReady preferences but I cant find the program. weird.

 

You might not have installed that component, go to add/remove-modify you will need your adobe cd
