How do people not know what a dimebag weighs?

Okay I'm old school, and I weigh pot to the exact math. i.e. an 1/8th aka 20sack is 3.5g which is half of 7g which is a qtr OZ. With that said here's my story.

So the other day this guy I know calls me up wanting to know if he can buy a dimebag off me. I say okay, weigh it out at 1.7g, and then go meet him. The next day I'm at my buddys place and this guy just shows up. I'd made the mistake of introducing the 2 last week. So this guy shows up all fucked up on pills, not sure what kind of pills, but he was on pills as I couldn't reason with him for shit because he wouldn't listen.

He then says "Dude you owe me half a gram because that bag didn't weight right." Now I've explained to him before that I weigh shit out to the exact math, but he obviously didn't remember this and I wasn't about to go into again because he should have listened the 1st time, and when he is on pills he has to be right, no matter how wrong he is. So I just say "Oh guess I need to recalibrate my scale".

He seems to think that a dimebag is 2.2g and an 1/8th is 4-5g and a quarter is 8-9g. What amazes me is that this guy used to be a big time dealer and has gone to jail twice for large amounts of possession/distribution (half pound to a pound).

I then goto the fridge and grab a beer, he sees me do this and goes "Where's mine? Can I have one? You owe me." I go "Uh no, and there's only 1 left." I then drink that beer and go get the last one. This schmuck then tries to take my last beer right out of my hand (MAJOR PARTY FOUL). Which didn't work because I had a good grip on it and this guy looks like a toothpick. He kept complaining for the next hour about his "half a gram" that I owe him. Then he tries to get me to go buy a 6pack of beer, I refuse saying I have no money. He then tells me to give him $2-3 so he can go buy a bowl because I owe him a half gram. I tell him "If I don't have cash for beer, what makes you think I have cash for a bowl?" Which I didn't. He keeps on it, and finally I open my wallet and show him that I have no bills. His pillhead ass then thinks that my money is not in my wallet, but in my pocket. I never keep money in my pocket, just in my wallet and that's when I actually carry cash which is RARE, because I'm all about the debit card. I tell him I HAVE NO MONEY FOR ANYTHING, PERIOD!

After this, he finally shut up about it (I guess his pill high was wearing off or something), well I think he made one or 2 more comments and then shut up, I can't remember because at this point I was getting pissed and trying to play Call of Duty: MW2 , I swear to fuck I've sold this guy 1.7g for dimebags ever since I started breaking them off my personal bag to help him out, he's never complained before and I've known him 2 years. Oh and I've driven him countless number of times using my car and my gas to get X, weed, and try to get a job at the unemployment office, not to meantion I've driven his ass around to other places as well, so I think him and I are even on his "half a gram". I hate pillheads. I would tell him to fuck off, but when he's not on pills (which is rare) he's actually an okay dude, plus I try to only answer his calls when I'm at work or busy doing something miles and miles away.

 

That's why you don't use stupid terms like dimebag or 20sack and just tell people the amount you are giving them. The dude sounds like a douche, but it's still your fault as well.

 

This is why I never buy less than a half. I have done the quarter in the past but really, what is the point of that. Shit save the money buy in bulk that is where it's at, Hell buying a dime at a time is pointless. If I sold I would not sell less than a quarter. If you can't buy a quarter then I guess you don't want it that bad.

for me a dimebag is a gram, 1.0 and its ten dollars. 20 sack is 2.0 - $20.. etc, 1/8th is 3.5 - $25-$30, q.oz 7.0 $50-$65. half oz, $90-$120 oz. $180-$280. QP $600 - $750 ETCETCETCETC

Yea, if you are buying $10 worth you get like 2 fucking bowls. Thats why I don't deal anything under quarters at 7g, 1/2 oz's, or oz's. Straight up, no BS. If they complain tell them this shit ain't Walmart, no returns and you can't return if you bitch. So gtfo or deal with it.

 

Wow I feel old, years ago a nickle was 7 grams and a dime was 14 grams. I never bought anything less than a 8th of a ounce( except joints) I was not aware people sold such small amounts. Buying bulk is better

that a dimebag is 1gr. and 10 $.
20 sack is 20 $ etc.

so if you put 1.7gr you sell it for 10? that doesnt even make any profit except if you are getting Os for 90-100 $

and yes you should acted a bit more aggressively with that guy.
dont let him fuck around just because he is intoxicated and act this way. thats not an excuse but just dumb on his part.

 

It all depends on how much you are buying it for in the first place. An ounce is not an ounce the world around. Here in Chicago an ounce can range from $100.00 for bricked mexican ditch weed to $400.00 to $450.00 for Major Chronic. I personally have been paying around $350 - $400.00 an ounce.

I bought $10 of weed last night and got 4.5 grams.

 

The only time I even think about grams is when I am rolling a Joint. I have found a gram joint is the best amount.

hmm here a nickel is 7 grams a.k.a. 1/4 oz a.k.a. $50-60, but it's not the case up north. and a dime is 2 joints. you'd think a nickel would be half a dime but nay.

EDIT: I always assumed a dimebag was a gram unless it's expensive weed.

 

My dealer always give me a little over what I buy. It keeps me coming back. Also the fact that it's really good weed.
