now i know that smoking mushrooms is INEFFICIENT it does work, contrary to the popular belief also the smoke doesnt make you blind, if you are victim of this myth i have smoked mushrooms, it has an effect, it is not a head rush from lack of oxygen, it was a very obvious mushroom high, complete with open and closed eye visuals and im not blind =] BUT the method of ingestion was inefficient, i had to smoke alot of material and yes i do know that heat destroys the chemical, but it takes alot more heat than you would think psylocybin's melting temperature is close to 185-228 degrees (C), now i know that a lighter burns at somewhere around 1977 degrees (again C) that is a MAJOR difference, and i would guess that smoking mushrooms is inefficient due to the ammount of the chemical that is destroyed by fire, though some of the chemical AROUND the fire, or material around the smoldering mushrooms, as even the smoldering mushrooms would be too hot but . . . if i could control the temperature, with say a vaporizer, im wondering if it would be possible to extract the psilocybin using either boiling water (not hot enough to destroy the chemical i believe, as distilled water can not actually get hotter than 100 degrees, because at temperatures higher than that, water is actually vapour, and wouldnt be in liquid form) and evaporating the water, or using an alcohol or something similar but anyways, opinions ??
MY opinion is you are making this allot harder then it has to be. Something like that might work, but overall there are better ways to get psilocybin.

thats unfortunate do you live in a really small town ? i would suggest you ask your pot dealer, if you have one and if you even want to find some to eat and if s/he doesnt have any, ask them to introduce you to who they get their product from and go up the chain, youll find some in no time

Ahah, I've had them a few times - I just can't ever find an actual dealer. Everyone I bought them from was someone that is usually a weed dealer but their dude had some shrooms he needed to offload and they decided to try it. The only other time I got them it was a gift from a friend that got it from a friend they don't talk to anymore. I don't believe in destiny anyhow, just shitty luck =P

ive smoked mushrooms too, and yes, it is wasting them im talking about vaporizing though, not smoking and that would work, you would just need to grind them up first, and the high would be different (for any method other than eating) because the conversion of psilocybin to psilocin would be much much slower, due to the fact that it isn't exposed to an acid (HCL in your stomach) so shoving mushroom dust up your ass would work, you WOULD get high but it would probably be unpleasant, you would have mushroom dust up your ass lol i don't believe in destiny either duck, but some people do =P i thought you might've been one of them but either way, mushrooms will come around to you again at some point, whether it be "destiny" or a new dealer in your area you could always try outdoor music festivals, you can find almost any drug in existence at those things i know people who save all their hard to find drugs for them its almost disappointing lol sometimes i have to wait for a festival, and buy in bulk to last until the next one
