    Cons:

It has made me second..fourth guess myself in every public setting.

My personal identity now rest solely on nature vs nurture, and for all those intellectually handicapped, choice.

My personality characteristics will always be psychologically defined

    Pros:

National Geographic depicts us pretty unique and biologically engineered differently, and most American Psychiatric institutions agree we're not mentally challenged

Most university studies, studies in which are paid attention to, are done in our favor.

Proves we exist, not only here but all over the world, in every generation.

    ANy input?

Despite all the hassles attendent in being Gay i love the advantages it gives me. There are far fewer of us Gay folks than straights...we can look at life from a different perspective. I've gained a lot of insights about people and how they react to change and difference...some folks are very comfortable with new ideas...some are not. Because our brains are wired differently we have the ability to contribute unique outlooks that give a fuller view of human potential. And at the core of it I love seeing and appreciating the beauty of other men. The more I learn about the creature that I am the more power I have to develop myself and challenge myself. The more gay people are studied the more the world will know the richness of our contibutions. Just some of my thoughts.

You're welcome Gbama...Glad to see you active here and asking questions. This is one of the few places I know of for Gay folks to share thoughts and ideas on everyday stuff. Hope you stick around and share your world with us.

studies don't affect my self-esteem at all. i personally don't understand the thought processes for that to happen.
I'm certain of my sexuality and that's all that really matters. it's kinda just my role to take that certainty, and not take what some other people in a building are putting under a microscope.
