"If you want to sing out, sing out and if you want to be fee, be free." On my left wrist. What do you think? Thanks xxx
you're not sure about it? sorry i just would rather get a good idea of what people think about it before i get it done.
Well, I think writing tends to be cliche and that saying will probably label you more as someone who wanted a tattoo than someone who is free spirited. You should do what you want and not worry about what other people think. The fact that you're asking us and wanting everyone's inputs makes me suspect that you're doing it for the wrong reasons. But, hey, I could be wrong.
thanks, i know it seems like i am getting one for the wrong reasons by asking what people think, but i havent decided what im getting yet, or if im getting one at all and the reason why i am asking every ones opinion is i get very analytical when it comes to big choices. the reason i want one is to remind my of the this time in my life and the message it gives maybe im not ready for one yet, im not sure, thanks for your post
This quote means you aren't, which is cool. I also noticed you had a different idea a few days ago. Rule of thumb with a haircut is be sure for 2 weeks before any major changes. A tattoo is much more permanent. I think you know what you want your tattoo to mean. I think that there are ways to graphically symbolize the meaning without words that will be much more unique, less cliche, and more attractive. Also, consider that visible tattoos are limiting in terms of where you can work and how people will view you. This is a reality whether you like it or not. I would suggest a more easily concealable spot for your first. This is advice coming from someone with about 80 hours of tattoo work and none of it is visible. Why? Because I'm less than thirty and don't know what the future will bring. I love tattoos, but there might be somethign I love more that won't be compatible with visible tattoos. The fact that they're mostly covered means that they are for my own reasons and have nothing to do with public perception, which I like. They do not limit me in any way. I lot of people will tell you "f*** what people think and do what you want." Well, I would counter that with what people think can limit what you want. So, don't limit your freedom while trying to express it. Just some food for though. You're young. There are plenty of ideas and time for you to bounce about. You'll know when its right. Cheers
