I never said we weren't different or capable of the same things, but I think in terms of many competitions, women have a lot more potential than they meet. I am thinking particularly of skiing and snowboarding. It seems to me the main limitation women have compared to men in these sports are the 'all or nothing' attitude of the high end men competitors. In these cases, women seem mainly limited by their lesser risk taking.
I totally agree that in some, the two sexes are totally equal. I just don't think it would work for everything. But something like skiing I definitely think there is equality. I think that sometimes we mean the same thing but we misunderstand... (sorry I am drunk so I hope that makes sense)
That does make sense. Personally, I think that's how it all is. It's all perspective. Me and my best friend constantly argue and in the end we always mostly agree, even though no one's viewpoint changed =P
My boyfriend and I do that all the time. We also will get really into the argument and then realize 3 hours later that we were saying the exact same thing! lol
I have no idea why the sexes are separated in sports like curling. It's a skill and strategy game. Physical size and strength mean nothing. Every cell in our bodies is different.
