Help me get my next Tattoo! Sort of a contest! Except you won't actually win anything

So it's that time again, and I'm itching for a new tattoo. I have a few ideas...but the frontrunner is for a pinup-ish girl on my left upper arm.

Now here is where you come in - I need some inspiration. Poses, styles, looks, etc. I want it sexy/sultry without being straight out XXX nonsense, and am hoping for a touch of punky/goth/gypsy/etc style to it. Is that vague enough for you? Good!

I'm digging it, wildflowers. Am a touch torn between more cartoonish style and realistic, but leaning toward realistic.

Also feeling like I may let in a bit of the de las muerte artwork of sylvia ji.

Thanks, tipsy - I like the realism and full body, but I'm thinking in more vivid full-color. I fully intend of 'personalizing' it a bit, but I'm looking for a spectrum of poses, styles, etc to sort of get my creative gears turning.


And thank you daisymae, I am familiar with the concept of google and was hoping to more personally ask a group of people I know to be creative and such and can discuss things more efficiently with - but your attempt at cynical internet lulz was a pretty solid addition to the thread.

How large a tat and where are you thinking of putting it? If that is not too personal. It does make a difference sometimes in coming up with ideas.

 

Not too personal at all. Upper left arm, and I'm hoping for somewhere in the 'pretty big' category though however it works out best is fine by me. I have pretty much everything from the tip of my shoulder down to my elbow(or even a little past that) set aside for it.

No amazing girls from this forum should try to recreate the poses from that link and take pictures and send them to me as inspiration; heavens no. It may seem odd for me to say this, but that's just how much they definitely under no circumstances shouldn't do this.
