15 w - T8 - bp - Desert 50 bulb plus CFLs and a T5

this lights been laying around for awhile and i have a fixture for it and everything, the label says the light is for reptile use only since its a terrarium light i believe, but i dont see why i couldnt just put it in there with the other lights. plants have been budding for about 2 weeks and theyve only got six 26w cfls running for em right now. i added another 15w plant and aqua floro as a side ligh. i think its a T5 and i was wondering if icould just throw this T8 - bp - Desert 50 bulb in there as well ,just for a little extra light and what not. ( i dont think the plants are getting as much light as they could be toward that bottom bud sites)
like i said, the label says its for reptiles but i dont see why i couldt use it for the plants.

if anyone is knowledgeable about different types of flourescents and the do's and dont's about what should and shouldnt be done, i'd really appreciate any input,
