Earth Angel was my favorite song when I was a kid, especially after Back to the Future I grew up on it... my parents are old... I also don't mind some modern day malt-shop inspired rockabilly/psychobilly.

Doo-wop is fun music. Little Darlin by the Diamonds was pretty cool. "Darlin, I need yooouuuuu."

Having said that, I'm glad the recording industry didn't take a gimmick like doo-wop and turn it into the leading cookie-cutter mainstream genre and push it on people for 20+ years like they did with rap. In the old days, people created something new, enjoyed it for a few years, and then moved on to new endeavors.
