In your country, unlike most, you might be able to tempt the citizens out of the woodwork to protest on this since they are rolling back the rights they gave by turning a blind eye. Why don't you get say 10 like minded people, try and get each of them to recruit 1 and those to recruit another 1 until you have 1 person to canvass each area of the country then knock on people door-to-door and encourage them to come out to a protest to let the government know you don't appreciate their nanny state interference.
