The use of gay as a derogitory term has no place in today's society. How would you like it if people started using something about you as meaning something negative. As in: Coming onto a public forum & making assinine comments is so gmdukes.

As for the gayness of this board. There is a subforum called gay. There are a few members of hip forums who are GLBT but what the hell does that have to do with anything? I bet there are GLBT people living within a few miles of you. Does that make your town gay?

Gay music? What are you refering to? There are plenty of glbt musicians, composers, record producers, conductors, other occupations within the music field but I have always been hard pressed to find a piece of music that really had sexual preference to it. Oh, sure there are pieces that the composer was writing a love song to their same sex lover. There are even a few references within the lyrics to same sex relationships but in general even those songs aren't necessarily gay in & of themselves.
