Well now that I've got your attention, the word vagina is fucking filthy. At least according to network TV in the United States. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/richard-adams-blog/2010/mar/16/tampon-vagina-kotex-advertising I just thought this was one of those fun "lol wut" type articles. Oh crazy, conservative America. I love how even "down there" was rejected. I also love though how the television can basically scream out DO YOU HAVE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION?? every commercial break.
funny I think alot of ads just display what kinda species we are.. Dicks falling down, blood cunts, shitty toilet bowls, cum stains on the carpet(resolve), wind me up cause this shit is depressing.. ..
shits fucked up.. i saw a commercial for that penis pump thing and it was still day light the other evening
its to keep penises in the dark, and its WRONG! it is unjust to subject (our, lol) men to a childhood and lifetime of awkwardness about the functioning of womanhood. growing and changing? sex ed? taught separately, because invisible man in the sky forbid we teach boys to understand. women are generally more interested in how the body works, words like penis, testicles (so much fun to say) erectile disfunction etc do not phase us, but vaginas are just too much for boys. its an uncomfortable word, more so than, say, pussy or twat. this is absurd. its a word, it cant hurt you, unless you are so close minded that it blows your mind, in which case we are all better off. its a WORD. its a MEDICAL TERM. better than an ad that says "kotex! stop up your twat!"
^^^^^ Made me smile....like this---> I think they should just go ahead and use slang terms for our parts on commercials: "Cant get your dick hard? take this pill!" "Got a bloody hole? Stuff this in it" ...I hate TV
Same here. hahahah. I think its just a word.. its life.. its nature. Dudes (&people) needsto stop being so insecure.
I think as stupid as it is, it doesn't really matter. I mean, as it word it may offend some, maybe those with younger children. I am pretty sure any woman who needs those sort of products don't need the adverts to remind them that they should pick them up. If they did, then these women would be a little gross... The adverts are then a little futile. Penile disfunction is different, and maybe people do not know the sort of drugs that can offer significant improvements in that area. To this day however I have yet to see an advert here in the UK with the word penis in it either. We have tampon and condom adverts and they all get around it by having some idiot frolicking around in a field touching themselves. It's not sexist, it's just trying to avoid showing these adverts to the wrong person. I mean, ladies, beens that it's such a personal thing (periods etc), do you want to be siting with your big family on a saturday night, eating a take-out- when all of a sudden some lady on television asks you whether your Vagina needs a bit of TLC? Nah..
