I have two that have just not dreaded, my hair is just over a year old and there still straight like i never backcombed, i have no idea why though, im gonna backcomb it more once the others gain some length cause they frame my face nicely
Whooohooo 1000 posts. I will celebrate with narcissism. ^^^ The fuck is that about? Major shrinkage in that area alone. Sooo lopsided. lol. I'm glad I'm not the OCD dread type, I'd be driven mad by now. 9.5 months I suppose. Most are dreaded about halfway down, except for the awesome underneath ones, and the two longest ones people that sit behind me in class like to play with. The good news is weird long undreaded one I posted about before has acquired some loops and is losing length, it is like only two or three inches longer than the rest now. (I attribute this spontaneous shrinkage to my switching to normal shampoop)
Thanks It was a very poor attempt at backcombing that I could very easily pass off as neglect Well actually most of the back is like like 'fuck it, I can't reach that, I'm just leaving it'
My hair never seems to stay one color in pictures, depending on the lighting it changes soooo much. Like all the pictures in the thread are all the same color, not dyed or anything. Looks most realistic in the outdoor photos though. edit- I changed my mind, It looks more right in these I think.
I like narcissistic Sarah. About being lopsided... one side of my head has loops and weird shit happening... the other side is straight. I'm getting annoyed with it. You are a better person than I. lol
And I'll "Bet The House" You Sleep on The Same Side Every Night.. This Happened To Me, And It Took Me A Good Month To Train Myself To Sleep On The Other Side. Now I Alternate Between Sides, Or Favour The Side That Is Lagging Behind By Sleeping On It For A Few Nights To Catch Up.... Who Said Natural Dreads Were Simple..??... Cheers Glen.
I think I had a dream about Glen, I can't quite remember how it went. Not the person Glen, but the concept Glen, because I don't even know what he looks like, that mysterious bastard My shortest side is the one I sleep on most, but I always wake up on the other side. I think. I never pay much attention (I'm usually focusing on the strange dreams I have)
haha On both sides I hhave some where and inch or so at the roots seperated and formed a little dread so I have about 15 3 or 4 inch dreads while the rest are all well past my shoulders
You are good... lol Yes, I always sleep on my left. That is the straight flat side. I do not think I could sleep train myself at all. I just wanna lay left... nothing about the right feels natural. And Dear Glen Glen... we want to see a picture!
Believe Me It Wasn't Easy, But The Way That Finally Worked For Me, Was To Lay On My "Favoured" Side Till I Reached That Point Where I Was About To Drift Off, Then Reverse Sides, And Take A Long Deep Breath, Then Hopefully To Sleep, And Perchance To Dream.[ EDIT..Of Sarah] Wasn't Quite That Simple As You Will Discover.... For The First Week Or So, As Soon As I Rolled Over, I Was 100% Wide Awake Again. Eventually It Worked, And Now I Can Sleep On Either Side... Be Patient Grasshopper..... Cheers Glen.
