My 2 1/2-year-old did a face plant on the kitchen floor last night and knocked his front tooth right out!!
He's ok, but his lip is still really bruised and swollen. He's so tough, I keep asking him how he is, he says he's fine and it doesn't hurt. :)
The poor guy will have to wait another 4 years for his new one...

But, the tooth fairy came and left him a dollar!

Ouch!!! He sounds like a real trooper. I can only imagine what your face looked like when that happened. <That is my expression when anything traggic happens. I wait to see how my boys respond to the pain before I move in.

Last night I was thinking about my boys (after they had gone to bed. I was thinking that I worry about them all the time. I guess that comes with the territory of being a parent. Do you find yourself worrying about your son all the time?

Glad your lil' one is alright. :)

did you take him to the dentist? Sometimes they can fix broken/knocked out teeth, if they get to it early enough.

My 3 yr old has weak teeth, and we got her front tooth capped. The damn thing fell off, and they wanted to replace it, but I just had them pull it instead. Those things have a 50% failure rate, and I didn't wanna have to replace it every year for the next 3 or more years.

Yeah, We talked to a doctor and two dentists last night, they said they don't usually do that for a baby tooth, and it would discolour and stuff. He has an appointment with a pediatric dentist tomorrow to check things out.

Thanks for caring everyone :), I just wanted to share to get it off my chest, you know?

And Bird, there is so, I said she left a dollar didn't I? :p
