Proof that Star Trek is beneficial to society

    A 1993 study from Purdue University found that children learn more about science from Star Trek than from any other source.

    Take that, Trek Haters!

    i take it and say you can shove it up your arse ;) lol!!!! my step dad used to make me watch it when i was growing up, needless to say i failed science and maths and am traumatised by the tightness of the outfits.

    that is just plain anecdotal evidence... the university survey was statistically proper.
