Hey guys, Im 16 and a guy I got my ear pierced a long time ago and haven't worn and earring in like a year. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind of earring I should get or a web link to some would be great. Thanks
I think plain black plugs look really really nice. like this: probably wont fit a size like that, but you should work up to them. if there arent your size like that, i'd just do a stud. hoops and horseshoes are meh
yeah lol i just have the normal sized hole so those wouldn't work. I could try stretching though. Any suggestions on how to stretch?
you can go to a tattoo place and get your ears stretched but it hurts more than getting it pierced in the first place. I knew someone who loved to get his nipples stretched, which is just mind-boggling to me. You can slowly stretch them by buying next size earrings everytime they heal which is about a week and a half? my friends say it makes them sore by doing it like that, but probably a lot less pain than stretching them (taking into account that stretching breaks the skin on the inside. you're ear will make a pop). so idk if you would rather stretch them fewer times or slowly multiple times. they both cost money but the slower way might be a lil more expensive. or you can stretch them with household items which i've seen some guys do before but be sterile!
From what little I know about this, you should gauge it slowly, instead of just having someone rip your ear open....

says who? I know people who have sized down their gauges. Why would ripping it all at once be ANY better for your ear than doing it slowly and relativley gently?
False. Everyone's ears have their own elasticity breaking point (usually larger than 1") and as long as you don't go past it, your holes will go back to pretty much normal. The only thing holding it open at that point will be the scar tissue. But I am at 5/8" and they are a bitch to get back in even after a 20 minute shower. Get the other ear pierced at like a 4g and stretch the other to match. Can't go wrong with plain black or SS plugs/tunnels. Do it.
