Is There Going To Be A Revolution????

I am hoping these idiots see the errors of their ways before its too late, but the momentum is definitely building for some seriously ugly and violent outbreaks this summer. Once that happens, these groups will find it very difficult to answer questions like "You broke the front window of my business, why should I support you ?" or "My brother is a Police Officer, he got hurt in one of your riots, why should I support you ?". It is at that point that public opinion goes against them and the bomb throwers find themselves isolated and marginalized.

 

You can only hope , but I don't see it . Shit is going to go down and maybe more then anyone of us wants to see.

I didn't have time to answer this post correctly so I am going to try and do it now. I would suspect that you were never involved in a riot - I unfortuneatley was involved in two riots in the 60's. I'm not talking about protests I'm talking about outright violent riots where I was the instigator of the violence. I wasn't trying to protect myself or anyone else, I was out for blood. Mob mentality is something that you have to experience for yourself in order to understand it and it's so easy to justify it after it has occurred. I also believe that when these right wing radicals start getting violent it is not going to be the throwing of a few rocks or bottles. It is going to be a lot more violent. And if you got hurt by them, it meant that you were on the wrong side. You weren't with us, you were against us. I really think that the so-called 'left wing' should go out and be in opposition to these nut cases. All they are doing is just feeding off of all the attention and non-resistance that they are receiving. If I was healthy and capable I would be out on the streets screaming at these people . Oh well, I guess the only thing I can do is watch it on tv .

I'm in Georgia at the Alabama line and I20. I have to go by at least half a dozen Stars and Bars to get to the interstate. It's not a sterotype, it's a reality.

 

I am in Iowa and most here don't even know what "stars and bars " are.

 

Confederate flags are rare in NC.

I think that would be a big mistake. We would lose the moral high ground. We need to be patient and let this play itself out. The tea baggers will make fools of themselves without any outside help.

 

It was late and I was tired and didn't stop to think that many people might not know that the "Stars and bars" is the Confederate battle flag. They're everywhere around here. And, the ironic thing about it, they don't even respect it; they leave it out in the rain and weather and many are half gone. It really isn't a flag issue, it's an "in your face" "we're not gonna give up our racist ways" statement. Their line is, this flag is our "heritage."

That's exactly right. The Civil Rights movement was a success partially for this reason.

This is exactly correct. If the fringe right wing decide too escalate the violence, mainstream America will abandon all sympathy for them and entrench the Democratic party in power for the next 25 years.

If the fringe left starts their own violent movement, this will only serve to provide cover to the fringe right and solidify the notion there is no difference between to two sides.

 

I don't think I made my point very well. I think what we have to do is just show those people [the teabaggers] in a non-violent way, that they are not the only ones . If you don't show that there is resistance to their beliefs , then all that will happen is that they will get braver and braver. There is an old expression: history has a tendency of repeating itself. How do you think the Nazi movement started? Oh shit- I don't even know why I care: I'm retiring and moving to the south of Spain. So- whatever happens, happens. Who knows, maybe you are right. We can only hope that is the case.

What are you saying? What has changed since the last time we talked about this?

 

Let's see: a hundred and thirty two tea- baggers are running in the next election. Sharon Angle has said that if they don't win the election they should resort to the second amendment----take up arms and remove the government. So I guess you're right: nothing has changed until the first shot is fired.

Sure there are going to be uprisings like we have already a little bit in France and Germany these days BUT they are waiting for this, with or without false flag events they are going to use this as an excuse for getting rid of all the actively alternative people and discourage those who only think about it. Thanx to internet they already know who they have to liquidate first. They have better techniques to fight back than in past revolutions and more people are brainwashed by them.
I just wonder if they are going to wait for widespread uprisings to hit back or if they are going to make false flag terrorism first.

What will happen is Walmart will cut prices on hamburger meat and another news commentator and some new television shows will be discouvered and americans will go back to their televisions.

 

This is pretty much the truth and it isn't pretty. The sheep here are very well trained.

 

Maybe 100 years ago it could have worked but now its too late. 99,9% of the people dont even know who is really responsable for the misery on this planet.
And they will take care of the dangerous, informed 0,1%- no problem. All thats left then is a headless mob which will make things even worse.
