I actually did this piece in Adobe Illustrator for a class I'm in. This was very time consuming but a lot of fun!
wow that is frickin awesome. The picture as a whole has good value and interesting color. looks like you missed a spot right above the flower?
Thank you guys~! I was very meticulous, I don't think any spots were missed..might just be a highlight you're seeing. Jennifer19 - my friend told me this as well and it is a complete mystery as to why some can view it and other's cannot. I think it might be a Mac thing, no clue. Here is a link to a lower-res version from my facebook. It's not as nice looking since FB puts things at a lower resolution, but it's the only way I can show you. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...5_777933223471_5013170_45008322_2570887_n.jpg
The pic looks amazing...*thumbs up* how long did it actually take you to do it?... was it very tricky?Havent used Adobe illustrator b4? I would like to be able to try to do an illustration like that...
It took several hours. I had worked in Illustrator before, but never like this. It's a bit tricky, but you'll get the hang of it. If you want to do it, use the pencil tool. Make sure stroke is set to none. Double click the pencil and do these options: Fidelity: 4, Smoothness: 35. Check boxes Fill New Pencil Strokes and Keep Selected. The pencil tool treats things differently than a normal brush. It will automatically fill the area between the first point and the last point, so if you want to make just a line you need to draw your line and then draw it back to the original point. Thanks for all of your wonderful feedback guys! <333
I can see it perfectly on my mac...and I LOVE it! Gorgeous. The hair's very Art Nouveau, which I also lurrve.
