i can get 8mg pills for $5 a pop. i've heard some not so great things about subs, but i figure i'll try em out since it's so cheap. i have no opiate tolerance and i know to start small; i'll only be doing a fraction of the pill. but i've heard some conflicting reports- is it best sublingually or snorted? i know the tablets are designed to dissolve under the tongue, but then i read somewhere that snorting it renders the naloxone ineffective, which would be a good thing, right?
Where i come from, its usually 1$ per 1mg for shit off the street. So thats a decent price. The naloxone is in there to prevent injection of the pill. Intravenously administered naloxone is supposed to block the effects of any opiates and cause the user to go into immediate withdrawal. Keep your eye open for Subutex, that stuff has no naloxone. I would recommend taking a small amount like you mentioned, and see how that goes. You should be able to get a good buzz going since your a opiate virgin. But im not sure how good it will be. hmm. i definitely don't want to IV it... i'll either stick it under my tongue, or snort it, depending on what else i hear. does the naloxone in the pill (when taken sublingually) block it from being recreational? if so, will snorting my dose bypass this effect? i have no opiate tolerance, and i do understand how powerful these things are... i'll probably start with .5 or 1mg, but can someone suggest how exactly i should take this? thanks.
If it is suboxone I would just put a piece under your tongue and let it dissolve you should notice the effects once it's dissolved, just tastes like shit....The naloxone is supposed to stop you from being able to abuse it, as previously stated it is supposed to send you into immediate withdrawl, however I'm not sure how this would affect a non-opiate user. I've seen a chick breakdown sub's an iv them and she "said" she got high, I don't know if she did, but she definitely didn't go into withdrawl but she also wasn't taking any other opiates at the time so.
Snort it. I was addicted to opiates before and suboxone was a miracle drug for me, I would usually snort like a quarter of a pill a day and i would be fine all day, more of a speedy feeling opiate, good for work. If taken sublingually it would take much more to get the same effect.
I wouldnt IV it either. CherokeeMist; you'll be fine to take it. Take it under the tongue, and maybe do a quarter of a pill. Then you can go from there. A little info on Suboxone: When addicts have chosen to use Suboxone for their addiction treatment, they have to wait until they start experiencing withdrawals. At that time, the doctor gives the person their first dose of Suboxone. Around an hour after that the invidual will be feeling much better, with all signs of withdrawals almost gone. The amount of this dose is an estimate based on what their daily opiate intake was before. Once they have found the right dose to give them, all is well. Now the reason addicts experience those immediate withdrawls is because they didnt wait for their body to actually start going into withdrawals. (I know it doesnt make any sense.) Works like this....The Naloxone in Suboxone pushs all the opiates off of the receptors in your brain and blocks them aswell. This prevents other opiates from getting to them, so you cant get high. SOOOOOOOO if your not in REAL withdrawals the Suboxone pushs the opiates off the receptors, blocks them, and the opiate that is in Suboxone isnt enough to prevent being sick. So you have to suffer until the receptors are unblocked before you can actually feel opiates again. Now if the person waited like they were supposed to and come to their Doctor in withdrawals, their body will have much less opiates in it, and the Suboxone will have very little opiates to push off the receptors. This way the opiates that are in the Suboxone are enough to prevent the withdrawals. Interesting shit isnt it????
My last dose of oxycodone yesterday was about 16 hours ago at 60 mgs. I took xanax to sleep and woke due to some disturbing dreams. Feeling slight withdrawl and opiate hangover. I split a 8mg sub and took the smaller half underneath my tounge, def less than 4mg orally. About 45-1hr later... my pupils are very big and I've got cold sweats BAD. Pacing back and forth so I take a low dose of xanax 0.25 Calmed down after 20 mins or so but still feeling withdrawl and uncomfortable. I got shit to do today and I need to feel at least halfway normal... Should I go ahead and just take the other half? I recently went from oxycodone to methadone for over a year... nicely led of the methadone from 65mg to 1mg dose in that year. Fucked up and took a script of perc 10s. Then a script of 15s... Now for the last week or so I have been abusing 30s and I'm back where I started! Hoping since its been a short time I can use the suboxone to finally come off this shit once and for all. Hoping someone w/experience can help me out today with some advice.
Fuck it I say... took the other half... so 8mg total sub 3/5 maybe... heres hoping it helps and I can finally knock these devil opiates.
not sure how true this is but i read this on another site. The Naloxone in Suboxone is completely inert and does absolutely nothing. Buprenorphine is solely responsible for the precipitated WD and blocking effects since it has such a high affinity for opiate receptors. Naloxone was put in their to trick the FDA into approving the drug and it worked. It does nothing to prevent abuse and you can IV and snort it as is all day. Forget the Naloxone is there and pretend Suboxone is Subutex because for all intents and purposes THEY ARE THE SAME DAMN THING AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH.
I've got Subutex. Does it still last as long if you snort it, or would I be better off putting it under my tongue?
snorting lasts just as long with suboxone if not longer, kind of strange since with other opiates the opposite is true
can anyone confirm that the naloxone doesnt do anything? ive done further research and i read that the naloxone is just there to scare people away from iv-ing and actually does nothing whatsoever. i dont have no interest in injecting any pill but i just want to make sure im not giving out wrong information.
What is up with you people? Suboxone is NOT supposed to be used for recreational use. When I wasn't addicted to opiates, I tried subutex with a bunch of friends, and everyone had a horrible high. Everyone was throwing up from only 2mgs, and felt no euphoria like all other real opiates. Suboxone is used to cure opiate addiction, so my advice is not to try it all, unless you have withdrawals.
well when i snort suboxone, i only do a very small line and i get some nice euphoria. not everyone likes the high. some of my friends like the high, other say it just makes them feel sick. if you get sick from it, that doesnt mean the next guy will. my one friend likes sniffing suboxone but his wife doesnt because she says the taste makes her sick. its sort of like methadone. some people say methadone is useless for a high whereas others like the high. im not saying suboxone is the same as methadone, but im trying to explain how some people can get high whereas others will get sick. sorry if i sound confusing. i sometimes have trouble wording things right. however, when i am coming down from suboxone, i do puke. but i also puke every now and then from other opiates too.
Yea the same is true for the strength; it's much stronger snorted where other opiate pills are stronger taken orally. You can use much less of the sub, a quarter of a pill would have the same effects as a whole pill taken under the tongue
yeah i don't know anyone who uses suboxone recreationally. the stories i have heard haven't been good so the people here saying railing it is good really surprises me. i've only taken it to help with w/d from OCs and have always dissolved it under the tongue, leaving it in there for ~20min and swishing the spit in my mouth for a bit and then spitting it out because when i swallow it i get headaches and nausea. and i only take a very small amount because i hate the high. i'll take a bit less than a quarter of a 8mg pill. i'm with the other poster not recommending railing subs, and just not using them recreationally at all.
