Im contemplating on going but I am unsure. I have heard bad things about the crowd that goes there, mainly too much n2o.

If anyone has been there can you please fill me in on what you made of it, is it worth my time?

also I have a 3 day camping pass for vibes I am considering trading for bisco tickets if anyone is interested.

    thanks.:D

it' is an interesting festival, pretty small. Unlike most other fesitvals the main search happens right when you get there. I know I know other festivals do it, but it felt like they were hardcore about it, more so than other festies. after that though, it's different because there is no separation from campsites to stages, meaning no showing wrist bands no searching of bags. once you are in, you are in.

one night i did get stopped because i had a bookbag, they were simply looking for glass bottles. they had me open the main pocket, saw my jackets and closed it up.

i swear to everything the security is hell's angels, no joke. men and women riding around on 4 wheelers, entertaining stuff really.

some of the niicest porta potties known to the festival scene! seriously there are some porta potties, but for the most part there are these pretty large outhouses. sometimes dirty, but generally have TP and are pretty roomy. EVEN better, if you go to the top of the hill by the highest stage, you will know what i mean when you visit, there are actual restrooms with indoor plumbing. there are usually some long lines, but not always. the out houses weren't so bad though, i think i used the regular bathrooms like twice.

it's a Camp Bisco, meaning less of a hippie crowd, more of the bisco scene if you know what i mean...there were definitely a few under covers that i ran into, thankfully i was intuitive enough to feel that shit. yeah and nitrous was there, but it doesn't stand out, but the feeling of the nitrous mafia was definitely there, there vibe was at least. but at that point i didn't even fuck with nitrous...there were a few dogs there, illegally or whatever but yeah.

it's a fun place, and the line up is good this year so fuck yeah!

    hope that helps

bisco i alrite...crowd is shady and it gets swamped. the music is good electronic based and camping is enjoyable, but there are ,many festivals i would reccomend for this summer above camp, starting with allgood, nateva, hornings hideout, furthur fest...list goes on

no no no you can definitely get away from the stages, im just saying unlike bonnaroo and all good you dont have to go through a check point and wait in line to get into a "centeroo" like place. but the camp grounds are separated definitely

we had a neighbor that played loud music all night though, didnt bother us because once we passed out we were out, and music was chill, but it caused some fights...pretty hilarious, but killed the love feeling ya know?

    ALSO
our campground was pretty close to the main stage maybe like 3.5 football fields, but there were trees in between...and they didn't play super late on the main stage anyway.

i think they are under some pertty strict sound ordinances

i think you could do much better instead of bisco. The music (even for an electronic fan like me) isn't that impressive. They have a few ones up there thatll be good, but like i said, if electronic is your thing, you should look into something else. Still gonna be a good time though, i mean it IS a festival....

See I went to Bisco last year and loved it. The late night dance tent is the bees knees. That's my favorite part of this festival, top-notch lighting in that tent and late night sets in it are magical. Plus 3 nights of the biscuits, you really can't go wrong. I dont remember nitrous being out of control last year though it is plentiful (like at most festivals). And yeah, security is wild at Bisco. Bikers roaming the grounds. Just don't fuck with them and it's all good. Actually, I kind of like the bikers, pretty laid-back for the most part. And the search that took place when we entered was chill, I thought, compared to other festivals I've been to. Overall, Bisco is a lot of fun if you like the electronic scene. 2 stages and a dance tent all in different locations....

Jacob, I think the lineup is pretty good. Some good dubstep artists this year, nectar, some drum and bass. There should be a few more big names added soon I would think...

Really I don't think you're gonna find a better electronic festival in the northeast. The only other one I can think in the northeast is desiderata, in NY. It's more psytrance and I don't even think they've announced artists for it yet though....

I don't care for Bisco at all, but to each his own. I'm sure that Camp is a good time though. Ween is a nice addition this year. But I would certainly go with the Vibes lineup over Camp...I couldn't pass on Primus.

Camp Bisco is very interesting. I haven't been there in 3 years, but when I was there it was shady. People were stealing things left and right. If you go, only bring what you need. Nothing you'd be upset about if someone stole. I think there are too many people doing A LOT of hardcore drugs.

Camp is a different festival than i like. i definitely prefer grassroots and family atmosphere. however, is it awesome cuz of the music. hells angels is security there, which can be cool as long as you are cool. when we went through security we told them about the herb that we had so when the found our stash (we brough alot, its a fezzy!) they werent surprised and let us through. no glass jars tho! but yeah, definietly a younger scene there, not too many older folk kickin it.
i gues if you really like the biscuits its cool to go. definiely had my hayday with them a while back.... not sure if im diggin the scene and the music so much lately.
nitrous will be there like everywhere else.... the mafia is around, just dont bring your own tank.

gotv..... ehhhh used to be pretty cool but last year was a little disapointing.

i would check out some other fests too cuz yeah, less blown up = a chill scene
most importantly, be safe and have fun!
