I live in New Orleans, but I couldn't have had people over anyway because I still live with my pearents. (One more semester of high school aka prison) Anyway, I read that you couldn't go to New Orleans, but anyone who "always wanted to visit" should know abuot Metarie, LA. Thats where the Airport is. It is a suburb with lots of good hotels and it is very safe. New Orleans had notouriously expensive rates esp. in winter adn spring. Also, January 20th is an historic day in the Big Easy. We are having a "Jazz Funeral for Democracy." A jazz Funeral is a New Orleans Tradirion that is kind of like a life celebration in real life.
