Sensation of phantom ring on finger?

I have had a strange experience for the past week of there being a ring on the middle finger of my right hand when I'm not wearing one. I actually am not a big fan of wearing rings at all and usually don't, but for Christmas, my mother's boyfriend brought us girls back small black diamond rings from Bahrain. I have worn mine a few times for several hours or more, but now I'm getting the sensation that it's on my hand even when it's not. When I pass my left hand over my right hand, I will get the feeling that's its there and that I've bumped it (only in my right hand, not my left). The same goes when I brush my right hand up against something. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough and noticeably so that it's made me curious. I talked to my mom about it thinking there was some kind of muscle/nerve memory from wearing rings (i.e. wearing a wedding ring for long periods of time and then taking it off; the left over sensation that it should be there/still is), but she said that she never has experienced this. I've tried to research it a little on the web, but haven't been able to come across anything. Any insight would be appreciated! I'm just curious as to what causes the sensation.

 

I'm afraid... the ring must have been... cursed. I'm sorry.

i am familiar with such ailments from my time spent in brazilian jungles with the natives.....folklore suggests that you have angered the gods by removing the ring and now will be cursed for all of eternity with one breast larger than the other....

the only known solution is to post no0dz on the interwebz

Ah yes, how could I have been so silly as to forget about the Brazilian jungle natives and their hard fought battle to migrate to Bahrain! It all makes sense now!
