I just watched this movie today and I absolutly HATED it. I think it had terrible acting, terrible special effects and a very predictable story line. I know it's an older-ish movie for this thread but it's not even a year old yet so I think it's okay. Anyways what does everyone else think of it?
I voted No, though it was in a sense bearable, I didn't walk away. As you said, terrible acting, pretty weak story line and imo the only selling point that move had was Megan Fox, but having sat through Transformers 2 that doesn't say much. My friends were completly split, they either loved it or hated it, so I finally came around to the 'loved it' crowd to realise it's actually because they watch 'trashy' movies, and they liked, and continue to talk about...megan fox semi-naked >.> No offense to people who liked it with my describing it as 'trashy', it just sums up how I felt, it seems quickly thrown together with Megan Fox plastered across the front and I can't think of a particular redeeming factor, it's not god aweful but I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't watch it again.
When I heard this movie coming out. I already knew it was going to be lame. One. Just another teenage vampire movie. 2. Only (if you want to call her one) known actress in it was megan fox flashing her tat tats everywhere, JUST to catch teenage guys to watch the movie. Tsk tsk.
I heard it was funny. My friend said there were some slang words in it he hadn't heard before. Like they referred to jealous as "jelly." Ha. I'm interested to see the movie now just to see how silly it is! Don't really feel like wasting much money on it though, so I'll be waiting awhile to see it.
I loved the film. It was very realistic in terms of how high school is in 2000's, which surprised me for some reason. 'Jennifer' and her fucking body looked bangin'
It's soooo rare that I don't man up and stick it out til the end, even if it's a flop. This was one of those rare occasions where I stopped watching it halfway through and not because I passed out drunk. Garbage.
I love it too... Thought it to be like a Mean Girls with Succubuses and things... Stylish but dated, just like I've always liked em.
i'm waiting for the second movie in this series. i think a good title for it should be, 'jennifer's snatch.' i wonder if megan fox can balance a couple of golf balls on her boobs and shoot eggs out of her snatch like punk rockstar wenedy o williams could? :biggrinjester:
I can say that I enjoyed the movie. Megan did better than most people are willing to give her credit for, & I loved Amanda Seyfried too. All in all, I'd say I enjoyed this movie a hell of a lot more than I initially expected to.
This movie was entertaining. It delivered everything you would expect from a movie like this except for nudity. Doesnt mean its a bad movie just watered down for younger viewers. Nudity is to much for our younger crowds to see (suppression creates perversion) but violence is ok because it conditions you to not be effected with all the war and hate going on in the world.
I liked this movie too... I felt like no one gave it a chance... bad marketing maybe? Diablo Cody has a lot of haters on the net, people seem to have a problem with her life choices and say a stripper can't be a writer and what not... One's previous professions have no bearing on a good writer though. I think maybe the studio kept this movie from being a real classic, but still it makes for a damn fun, smart, satirical popcorn flick.
