I'm off to buy some seeds from the health food store, then coming home to order the difference from Baker Creek. I'm so excited to finally be getting started. It's a beautiful day to be out digging! :)

Anyone else sharing my excitement today?

Yes I've been planting a vegetable garden since I was 14 (21 now) but now I'm at college so my mom and brother do most of the watering/feeding etc. But I'll definatly be heading home to buy some seedlings to plant as soon as its warm enough.

I may be planting a little something else this year too :)

    Haha I gotchoo. ;)
I'm happy with heirloom veggies and culinary herbs (I can't bring myself to respect flowers- only marigolds, because they pull their weight repelling the bugs :p).
Just got back from the store and here's what I've got (all MOFGA organic): Yaya carrot, Ashworth sweet corn (I know I said never again, but I just can't resist it), Bellstar paste tomato, Early Wonder Tall Top beet, and Beedy's Camden Kale.
    *happy dance*
Lolz, this warm spell's getting to me... I can't imagine the emotional hell I'm going to experience when the ice and snow come back next week (if the weather man is right... damn him). So if Monday comes and I come back to this thread having a nervous breakdown, just don't mind it, I'll be fine when the sun comes back. :D
