Anybody on Probation in CA?

i'm on 36 mos formal for a DUI.. been on it for a few months.. its in a different county than where i live, so all it has been so far is mailing in a piece of paper every month saying i didn't get arrested..

its improbable that they would call me up (2 hours drive) just to do a drug test, but i was wondering would they even care if it came up positive for THC?

i don't even smoke anymore, but i was wondering in case i ever feel like it in the future.

they will care about thc...but do as much ketamine as you'd like!

 

Weed is legal in Cali with a medical card. Ask your PO first though. Of course asking will get you tested...

 

Remember they don't need to make you travel 2 hours to get a drug test, there is probably a facility much closer where you can go and they'll send out your pee to be tested.

 

yea driving under the influence is dumb.


i'll see, i've never even met a PO, or gotten any phone calls from them, just a letter saying i should write in every month. i've heard i should get switched to informal after the first year or so.

edit: just called today, i found out there are so many DUI's that they have special probation officers for it. basically you never meet them or even talk to them.. just don't get caught doing anything illegal.
