Now, no one jump down my throat here for asking this question, but i was just curious, I really don't know much about this medication, i have Wellbutrin XL 300 mg pills here, and i'm just wondering, is there any way that you can get high from this stuff? say you crush it up and snort it or something...is it a speedy adderall like high? or is it a dopey opiate like high? if at all, now again, dont call me an asshole or an idiot for asking, its better i asked before i crushed 3 of these bad boys up and snorted them all now, right?
wellbutrin can have stimulant properties. im not entirely sure how it works but it is not like most anti-depressants. i would sniff 2 or 3 but dont go over. too much wellbutrin can cause heart problems. i had a minor heart attack from them (or at least i think i did. i weas definitely pale, and had tightness in my chest and my left arm kept going numb)
well that doesnt sound too good, I take paxil so i dont want anything with my brain chemistry getting all fucked up so i think im gonna just pass, but if this shit works and it doesnt seem like itd be a problem someone speak now or forever, well, dont say shit then.
i was prescribed wellbutrin half a year ago and took it for 3 months. i have never experienced with high doses, but when taking the 300 mg XL daily i did not notice much euphoria at all, just a HUGE apetite loss which eventually subsided once i continued to take the drug. reading reports of people who took high doses to get recreational effects never ends up in something good and many times the people have full blown hallucinations and trip disasters etc. ALSO snorting it is supposed to be one of the most painful things to snort if i remember correctly.
Crap anti-depressent. No recreational value. I saw some kid snort Prozac and wanted to punch him in the throat.
It is has been one of the most effective anti-depressants I have ever used. You cannot get high off them however.
