On internet message boards there are several ways to simply state that you agree with another members post. By quoting what they wrote and reposting it. Or by quoting it and leaving message with it such as "This!, QFT, quoted for truth, quite fucking true, I agree, etc"

very much. they act the same way that alcohol does. they work through your GABA receptors which are responsible for overall receptor activity in the brain, meaning they cause the lsd to stop working well, along with many other functions in your mind and body.

put the bottle away and don't touch it. if you're not ready to trip without an abort button you're not ready to trip.

totally right when i blaze up after some doses it makes it soo much more intense then blaze up on the comedown and the peak effects come up again for a little while...

 

Do you have to trip hard to have acid flashbacks later?
How long is an acid flashback?

 

Im asking these questions because i think i experienced one but im not completely sure, it felt like some giant invisible hand hit the back of my head, but it didn't hurt or anything, and i only felt weird for like a few seconds.

 

Acid flashbacks are the same as any other sort of flashback.
And that was the universe trying to smack some sense into ya.

 

hello everyone

i've been a casual user of e, smoked a lot for 2 years, and from what i've been told, lsd is awesome. i've finally found someone that i can get some from so what was once the one thing i couldnt find, has now become the thing i will be receiving next week.

1. this guy selling is a friend of a friend. but because its coming 10 a tab, and i want to buy 10, i want to make sure its quality. is there anything i can do to make sure that what i'm getting isnt bunk? with my e i had a test kit with me, and anyone that smokes knows what schwag looks like. but i dont know how to discern paper...

2. i'll be tripping at a friend's house and he has a pool. after taking 2 tabs, is it safe to swim?

3. judging from what people are saying, lsd gives you a unique opportunity for introspection and the like. however a friend of mine said that after a bad acid trip, he can't smoke cannabis anymore cause he starts getting super paranoid and crazy. i love my cannabis. is his story bullshit? or is there a way to not have that trip? (anything besides the typical "relax, have a good mindset, dont fight it, etc")

4. anyone here Christian? i've recently converted to Christianity and i'm curious if there exist any other Christians that don't hate on anything drug-related.

 

1. From a friend of a friend, not much you can do unless your friend is willing to try it first. There's no test kit that's realistic. You can't tell by the paper. Use your best judgment and start with a small dose if your worried.

2. Yeah, should be as long as you can swim normally. It'll feel weird, and probably awesome, and I could even see momentarily forgetting up and down but I can't imagine forgetting to breath or anything. Just don't do something stupid like run around the pool and slip or slam your head off the diving board.

3. His story probably isn't BS. It's not like the drug will force you to hate weed or anything. It can bring out subconscious thoughts about different things you do like smoking. So I can see it causing a reaction like that if there was an underlying feeling that smoking weed was bad for them. I've always been able to move past such thoughts if I wanted to though. Also, trips tend to be far less introspective around other people. There's usually other things going on to occupy my mind. It's up to how your mind deals with things.

4. Nope, not my thing. I do appreciate that your don't hate on drugs though. Try too keep that perspective when your older Enjoy whatever truth provides meaning for you in this world though.

about #4: haha did i sense a stab at religion there obscured? :b honestly i see it as more pascal's wager. die an atheist to find out you're wrong? or die a christian? don't get me wrong, the way religion is administered today i think its a crazier drug than anything else out there. i do, however, believe what i believe after a lot of fact-checking and research, thankfully not by traditional means of indoctrination and brainwashing lol

2 months later there is a psychdelic party at forest, i have never participated one before and never tried l*d before.

I can't watch horror or sci-fi movies at dark but i was planning to take "it" after sunset. Because i want to see light disturbances etc.

some one who i don't know said you might get crazy if you scare at dark. is there a difference taking it in the morning or night ? i don't want to have a heart attack because of my fear.

 

Didn't mean to take a stab at religion, but it probably came across that way. Even though this probably belongs more in the religion thread, I do have a bias against established religions like Christianity, but it's not my place (and is futile) for me to try to convince someone that they are wrong. It's not like I have some direct line to the Truth. Personally, I'd love to believe in a God, or some higher power, or even really spirituality. It would give life more purpose. I just haven't seen anything that, on further introspection, is anything much more than my mind trying to form order where there is none. Much like an optical illusion.

 

I can't really say. If your normally OK outside at night, you'd probably be fine. Just to contradict myself a bit, if your worried about the experience now, there's a chance that worry will carry over to the experience. I'd always suggest being in a comfortable place on your first time. But then you might just realize that your fear of the dark is irrational and laugh at it. Yeah...that wasn't very helpful.....sorry.

 

haha no worries mate. established religions are responsible for a lot of atrocious things happening in the world so i really don't blame you for holding that opinion. and oftentimes i find myself teetering in between believing in a higher power and, like you, realizing it may just be my mind trying to make sense of death.

i just picked up and they look legit. i really really wanna do it as soon as possible but my homies won't be available till next week. is it safe to take 2 by myself at night?

also, i live with my parents so i store it in a cooler with icepacks, in a tin box, in a ziploc bag, wrapped in tin foil. lol figure i should do all i can to prevent condensation but i doubt it gets cold enough in the cooler for that to happen.

is that sufficient to store it?

 

My advice would be to hold off for now, look forward to next week, and the fun you'll have with your friends. You'll have a better time that way and there's some support around on the off chance that you don't react well.

If you really want to take it alone, make sure:

1. Your in a comfortable environment. It's a place you can go outside or inside without worry.
2. You don't have any chance of having to deal with people that are sober and you don't want to know your tripping. If parents are anywhere close, I'd say that's a no go.
3. You have some good music to play.

You'll most likely have a good time, I don't want to worry you, but the chances of a bad trip are a little higher alone.

As far as storage, you more than have it covered there. I'd remove it from the cooler and icepacks (just in case of condensation) unless that cooler/box is going to be exposed to heat. A dark place at normal room temp (70ºF/21ºC ish) is fine.

 

hmm. i was only tripping (lol) because i had to keep on switching out ice packs and my mom was wondering wtf was i doing with them. imma just keep it in the box in the closet then.

as for tripping alone, you're right. i'll wait till i've experienced it before i start doing it alone. i think i'll enjoy it though because with all others i do: cannabis and mdma are more enjoyable when i'm by myself. =D

Hey guys, this will be my first time trying acid.. uhhm and i am sort of confused about where to go.. i want to combine bush and a waters edge together but that doesnt exist where i live.. i got one or the other.. unless i wait till september but i've been wanting to trip for so long! so i just decided go for the plunge now. can anyone suggest anything? few pointers?

Edit: i'll be doing it myself, i've got a sitter the sitter was going to drop with me but he says i should do it first. i'll probably do two.
