Just thought i would share a great (for me ) experience i had yesterday. I have done a few what I like to call 'inner city naturist' walks before but usually at night in places i know very well from walking around in the daytime, yesterday was very different. Now that the weather is finally warming up i want to start doing some more what some refer to as free range naturism so yesterday an opportunity presented itself which i had to take. I was doing some work in skegness which meant a reasonably long drive from my home near nottingham and on the way there i kept seeing all these fields and public footpath signs and thinking to my self, i wish i could. Well on the way back i found a parking layby which looked perfect, was near a little wooded area, so I went through the hedge and across the small field to the wooded are. Scouted around for a few minutes to see if anyone was around, there was a track in the middle obviously used by a quad bike/ land rover anyway after about 10 mins checking out the immediate area i found a nice big tree stump to hide my clothes behind. I then hid my clothes and ventured out for the first time naked in the daytime (except beaches garden and naturist club) that is to say somewhere i possibly shouldn't! : So naked except for my crocs (fantastic shoes btw) i set off along this track, still fairly close to the main road, close enough to hear the traffic going past. Had a lovely walk for about 5 mins when the track came to the edge of the wooded area and open to some fields, obviously farming land, but after a careful loook into the distance to check i was still far enough from the road to be reaasonably safe and that there wasnt a farmer around i ventured out on to the filed. As the mud had gone i then thought i'd make my walk even better by going barefoot too, fantastic After another 5 minutes or so of walking on the edge of this field there was what i thought to be a gunshot so thinking it may be the farmer a little upset with a naked rambler i turned and retraced my steps back to the wooded area, replaced the crocs ( have i mentioned them enough to get a free pair ) and headed back on the track to my clothes and then the car. I later heard the same bang again and figured it must just be a quarry or something similar nearby, wont be so chicken if i get another chance. Anyway thought you would like to hear about it. I do have a couple of questions though: 1. If spotted/caught by the farmer could I A- Be done for tresspassing and B Indecent exposure? 2. How have some of yoyu dealt with bumping in to strangers whether it be the farmer or just someone out walking a dog etc as i feel this stops me from doing more free range naturism as i couldnt afford to get a criminal record!! thanks and hope you enjoyed reading. Notts
I did enjoy reading. If it's on someones property, then it's trespassing. I don't know if you also get nailed with indecent exposure too. If it's a public place, then indecent exposure
I would like to think farmers are open-minded and would accept a naked walker strolling around so long as he/she is not getting up to mischief and the act of naked walking itself isn't interpreted by the farmer as mischief. If you bump into him/her, explain how you enjoy walking nude and speak of your appreciation of the attractive environment you are or have been walking through. I admit to walking along a track and coming across not a farmer, but a couple who were quickly getting dressed — I was naked, they had enjoyed a 'quicky'; they blushed and tittered, I only said hello and warned them to watch out for the nettles, continuing on with a giggle. That's the way to approach the situation and remain calm, collected and pleasant, rather than blush and feel embarrassed. Plenty of open fields I enjoy walking around in (typically canola, being so erotic as it brushes against everything!). You never know, the farmer may be intrigued enough to give it ago! Lastly, trespass is a civil tort, you cannot prosecute against it. All these signs are just that — a lie. Having said that, respect private property if it obviously is private property. Much better in a public place like a National Park or forest.
