Shooting OxyContin.

Is it just me or is it a fuckin chore to shoot this stuff? I mean, am I doing this wrong? Heres what i do:

Crush it up, put it in a spoon, put some water in there, heat it up, let it boil for a second, put some more water in there, mix it up, put the cotton in. but its so much water, it allmost fills up the whole syringe (i usually use 1/2cc) and it seems like theres still white flakes in the water on the spoon after cooking it. i dont know, if im doing this wrong someone please tell me. Thanks.

 

I've never done this but the only advice I can offer is if there is white flakes don't shoot the shit. That means you either have bad technique which maybe you should wait to have someone show you, or it's not very water soluble and that white stuff can get jammed up in your system leading to complications.

 

I'm sorry, that was a really jumbled post. But i meant that after i cook it up theres still white flakes on the spoon, i've never injected anything with any kind of shit floating around in the syringe. I had someone explain it to me, i thought i had it right, but maybe i'm just used to the rush from dope and not really oxy.

yeah, i honestly like chewing up. they last alot longer, my stomach tends to turn a bit tho, which usually doesnt happen when i take opiates of any sort. but i just lay down, its tollerable. i was in a bit shooting kick for alittle while, figured id give it a shot. tried afew times, but got shitty results. but if anyone has any tips i'd love to hear em!

 

Take off the outer coating. Crush pill into fine powder. Put powder into spoon. Add water and mix. Heat until just under boiling point. Mix again, then put in cotton and draw up liquid. Easy as that.

EDIT: You do not need that much water. Even when I'm shooting like two 20mg pills, I only use 1ml or less of water.

Shooting oxycontin sucks imo, you do get a slight slight rush but its over in seconds. Heroin on the other hand....
And you dont need so much water only use 40 units max, the little white flakes you are seeing is the filler, have you ever tasted the white residue left in the spoon? It's not bitter, all the opiate is dissolved and sucked up in the syringe.

 

yea...there's not much of a rush when you get it in your arm anyway.

Agroman is correct, the white flakes/residue is almost all filler, commonly referred to as refry (bc when people get desperate they scrape all that shit off the spoon and recook it)... You should definatly start using a 100 unit syringe, because IMHO its better to use about 80 units when shooting oxys. But shooting oxys isnt that great, I can shoot 2 80's and not feel a thing, H is much better if your gonna be using needles. IMHO I think even the 30 mg roxy's are better to shoot than 80's, although you have to be able to get over the fact that your shooting blue shit into your arm...

dont boil it, use cotton, dont use more water than there is in the syringe. maybe get someone more experienced to help you if you must bang it.
i like the taste as it goes up my nose and down my throat..thats the rush for me. lol

 

well back in the day when hypes would run out of herion i have seen people inject ice water in their veins! Too hard core for me,just give me my wife and a big joint!

Believe it or not, some people (myself included) enjoy oxycodone more than any other opiate. For me heroin makes me too tired and Dilaudid is too short lasted. Everyone has their own tastes.

EDIT: In fact, I just injected 40mg of OxyContin 3 minutes ago and I am flying hiiiiggghhh!

 

i love oxycontin and would love to experience that rush but im to afraid id fuck somethin up and cook too much or shoot air into my viens or some fucked up shit... my luck would be somethin fucked up happenin to me

 

I would sincerely point out that because of the binders common in many of these pills, banging em without micron filters is a harsh burden on the body.
Oxycodone has a great bio-availability, I would think it more practical to just take the pills.

 

Yea taking them orally gives a much better buzz but some people are intent of taking pills any other way than they are meant to be

 

its weird.. ive never shot oxy, however william s burroughs said that its rush is one of the strongest and most intense, and is similiar to a speedball more than its similiar to heroin... it was called sumthing different back then though not oxy.. maybe if it was in liquid iv form ud feel the rush better.. i once banged ativan cuz its one of the few water soluble benzos but didnt feel shit, however when i was given liquid iv lorazepam at a hospital by a pro, i felt like a million bucks.. fuck oxy, if ur already shooting then go for heroin, cheaper n is the king of all opiates.. even though dilly has a stronger rush than heroin but no opiate puts u in that dreamy, mystical, blissful state like heroin does...
