Wire wrapping stuff aint' too tricky once ya' get the hang of it. I dunno, what sort of craft's draw your attention or interests? Almost all of them have some simple projects for the novice to toy with and even make some cash at, like those Bic lighter holsters from leather are a piece of cake as long as ya' have a heavy needle, hit the Salvation Army outlet or a thrift store and grab an old leather jacket or two and theres your raw materials, then just get an exacto knife and some really long leather boot laces and you've got your cordage. Coin pouches, stash bag's, Dugout sleeves etc.
i like knitting its bad ass and you can make clothes. any hobby that can actually make useful things makes me happy.
felting once you get the hang of it it's so easy it's almost funny... and once you start making the fabric you can make hats or arm warmers or wallets or ciggie pouches or ear muffs or stuffed toys etc etc endless possibilities!
