Heeeey whats up im wondering about what your fave beatles song is? I really can't choose just one here's my top picks: Mother Nature's Son Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds A Day in the Life Blackbird Maxwell's Silver Hammer We Can Work It Out
I also have a list-- it's pretty much impossible to pick just one. Right now, here's my top 5: 1. A Day In The Life 2. In My Life 3. Eight Days A Week 4. Hey Jude 5. Long Long Long
Helter Skelter is the only Beatles song I truly like. (I find their style too twinge-y) Strawberry Fields Forever comes close, but I only like it sometimes. However, Let It Be and Across the Universe are tied for my favorite Beatles' written song (I just don't like their versions)
So tricky. Something I wanna hold your hand Let it be Help Hey Jude Eleanor Rigby Can't buy me love She loves you
That is an unanswerable question. I noticed nobody could pick a favourite song (notice no plural) I would do the same I couldn't pick a favourite just a bunch of favourites
No order in particular. Impossible to pick one or a few. Drive My Car. Norwegian Wood. When I'm Sixty-Four. Good Night. Octopus's Garden. Here There And Everywhere. She Said- She Said. Doctor Robert. Fixing A Hole. She's Leaving Home. A Day In The Life. Ob-La-Die, Ob-La-Da. Piggies.
Thats a hard one. If I really had to choose it would be a tie between Come Together and I Saw Her Standing There.
It depends on my mood but I honestly thing that "A Day in the Life," is a perfect representation of the Lennon/McCartney songwriting dichotomy. It almost sounded like George Martin gave them the title A Day in the Life and they went into different rooms. John came in with the first half very somber "I read the news today oh boy......." then Paul came in with his goofy pop "I get up, get out of bed, drag the comb across my head....." but that's what I love about the song. Peace Out, Rev J
I heard a great Jazz version of this by Jaco Pastorius with Toots Theilmans on Harmonica. Peace Out, Rev J
I know I contributed and everything, but I can never see much point in threads like this. So we all list our favorite Beatles song and then no one really cares and then they list their favorite and no one really cares. No one will remember what my favorite Beatles song is, and no one will remember what anyone else's favorite Beatles song is! Everyone already knows all the Beatles songs out there, so it's not like we're making any discoveries either... But anyway.
