This is our tell all thread. Tell us what you're into, what you like, what you wear, what you eat. God damn this is a personal thread, but just let it all out. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to hear a secret. I'll start. I'm a writer, I'm an artist. I'm taking art in the fall in college. I usually wear beanies, alot of hemp bracelets, sneakers, sandals and bright colours. I have dreadlocks, I like reading fictions. I want to travel to new orleans and San Fran. My favourite movie is wristcutters a love story, my favourite food is vegetable thins and honey nut cheerios. I love jones soda and drinking coke out of the original glass bottles. I'm partial to the colour purple. And the show ghost whisperer with jennifer love huge tits, scares the shit out of me at night. I also sleep with a moose teddybear, but i'm canadian so........I mean all canadians sleep with moose teddybears.
WTF is a moose teddy bear? A bear with antlers? I'm an artist that refuses to spend stupid amounts of money on a degree. (That comment has nothing to do with you, just the blood boiling tuition fees of SCAD.) I like to read, and play my guitar. I also like building things and working on my car. I usually wear jeans, t-shirts and flip flops. In the winter I change it up by throwing on a hoodie and wearing boots. I don't have a favorite movie or book. My favorite band is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I have a short temper and a mean mouth, but I'm surprisingly lovable. My favorite color is green. My favorite television show is True Blood. Mainly because I would like to rape Alexander Skarsgard. Ummm lets see.....I don't have a favorite food....no wait chocolate..that's my favorite and the reason for my fat ass. I used to be a dancer so I have serious body issues. I'm a rough and tumble kind of girl so I have a few scars from smarting off at the wrong type of guy. I work as a maid and am currently looking for fulltime employment.
I'm hungover as well... I am a botanist and gardener, I am going back to school in the fall to finish my Ecology degree but it is hard because of financial problems. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, reading, spinning poi, hanging out with my only two friends (my boyfriend and my cat) and I am very obsessed with drinking herbal tea. I love indie rock, but I hate jam bands more than anything ever. I used to have dreads, but I just combed them out. I don't watch many movies, but I love Mystery Science Theater 3000 and my favorite TV shows are Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Psych. I love every food except for raisins and soy, but I am going back to being a vegetarian. And I want to move to Scotland.
I am a student. Both literally and more metaphorically. I had too much caffeine and now my tummy hurts a little. This probably happens a little more than it should. I like to swim and ski and play water polo. I used to think I was some variety of artist, then I realized I wasn't. I like to spend my time around the people that I love. I like to work and feel as though something is being accomplished. I stare at pools and teach small children how to survive in them. I want to travel and explore, yet I am scared to do so. I don't know what I wanna be when i "grow up" and i am not sure how soon this growing up is going to happen. I wish it was sunny today.
I am a mother, I love animals, I want to work with chimps one day at an sancuary for abused chimps that have been experiemented on, or orphaned. I am finishing my wildlife rehabilitation license training, I work at the horse stables right now. I love to read all kinds of books except romance novels. I like to sing, I love oldies music! I am studying an plant spirit shamanic path. I love hiking, camping,a nd anything in nature except skiing bc it scares me. I grew up in colorado, and want to go back. I eat mostly raw food, but lately have kinda fallen off the wagon bc it is hard when you live with people who dont. I love to be active in activist groups. I wear usually tie dye, or parachute pants, vibram shoes, etc.
I'd like to say I'm an artist, but I only draw and draw good when I'm in school, when I'm sat down and forced to draw something. I'd like to be a writer, and a music artist but I'm too lazy to practice. I'm just a big coil of lazy. I'm big into politics but getting increasingly more frustrated with people. Recently I've felt a great affection for someone and it felt amazing cuz I find that certainty is stronger than happiness. The certainty is only how I feel, cuz my actions are anything but certain. I'm too chicken to date and open up, but i just want some affection, so things are bound to change soon cuz I need it. I've recently made some new friends getting into the rave scene so I'm learning how to shuffle and all. I have like 2 friends who used to be best buds but different interests set them apart. When I hang with one I have to shift interests, making me kind of a middle man and I kind of get lonely doing that. I have one tattoo that I drew myself on paper and I really want another. Tommorow is Zeitgeist day where I'm supposed to protest or go to an event where it'll be celebrated, but neither my best friend or brother can go because they work. This was supposed to be an important day but it looks like I'm gonna end up staying home. I don't know if I'm just being pessimistic, but my life kinda sux right now and this post is just gloomy. hahaha I'm unemployed and crazily stressed about it. I had a dream last night that I actually got a job interview from McDonalds because the guy thought i sounded "mettle" wtf? but yeah it meant down-to-earth in my dream. I ended up going to McDonalds wearing terrible clothes, unshaven, and when i saw the guy i was supposed to meet, i was eating some fries i bought and i said hi but he thoguht i was just some guy eating. I totally messed things up. And for these past couple of days I've been having these kind of dreams where I wake up terribly stressed and depressed. I'm now correlating having a job to worth. I feel my unconscious stress leaking out. I'm in college and living off of my mom. her boyfriend lives in our house too. I feel terrible for still being here in the house cuz I feel like they have fun and stuff when I'm not here, so I feel like I'm intruding. Had to vent that. now you know more about me. tada
I'm an amateur musician and semi-professional race car driver. i'm in the army for a couple more months. next month i'll have been in for 3 years. i spent last year in iraq. it changed me a lot. i don't know what i want out of life anymore, but i doubt i really knew in the first place. i'm a very active person but i'm really lazy sometimes. i like working out, running, swimming, rock-climbing, hiking, and eating. i play guitar sometimes and write songs. i play a few shows. i plan on going to college in the fall in austin, tx. i've lived all over the place but texas is so far my favorite. i've never been to california but i'm told often i sound like i'm from there. i was born in new jersey. i either wear jeans or board shorts when i'm not working out. i collect beatles shirts, i have eleven. i wear them too of course. i listen to a lot of different music but currently my favorite solo artist is charlotte sometimes and my favorite band is ringo deathstarr. i'm currently reading casino royale, and damn, its just as good as the movie, even if it is a completely different story. i love watching good movies and entourage. i have a 3 month old australian shepherd named dylan.
I'm pretty boring. I'm skinny and have shaggy hair. I'm usually in a loose shirt, blue jeans, and bare feet. I like hiking and sea kayaking with friends and spending time with Mama Earth in general. People who know me say I have a calming effect on them when situations are getting out of hand. I'm into vintage music and video from decades past. I write music occasionally but I'm not a great musician. I'm vegetarian most of the time now and trying to find healthier alternatives to mass-marketed unhealthy food. .
Student, aspergerian, epileptic, misanthrope, genius (whether you believe it or not, I am), aspiring aerospace engineer, and (again, whether or not you believe it) I understand I'm a decent boyfriend. got to go get seizure meds, and go to my second job.... don't want to, but have to. will have a free evening for the first time in quite awhile.
blah... this seems so tedious. to write about myself. this is what i did today: woke up at noon. made some drawings. got some of those toe shoes. ate some japanese food. wore my tam. took my dog for a walk. and later i hang out with the girl, probably watch and movie and all that business. i do what i do, i dont do anything else

I like using their catch phrase because it sounds silly, but it means a lot to me. I slept under a bridge when I was young. I'm in film school, which is fun, but I think it's a bit of a joke... as most of my classmates aren't serious and I want to consider myself a professional. I'm working on a screenplay, about two Indian American teens whose parents get divorced so they move in with their orthodox grandparents. While at Divali some swami become convinced that the younger brother is an avatar of Hanuman. It's a comedy about the older brother trying to keep his life normal as his bratty Bart Simpson like little brother is worshiped as a god by a small community. :biggrin: I'm also working on a documentary in which I fake my death. I've been engaged twice, I practiced kickboxing for years, I was once admitted to a nuthouse, and I once led a gay rights march.
