I grew up in Mobile (well, Chickasaw really), but I escaped, then went back, then escaped, then went back, etc. Finally I realized I was "Stuck in Mobile with the Memphis Blues, again" and escaped (I guess) for good in 1990. But I sure do miss the bay & Dauphin Island & the Gulf.

There is supposed to be a huge hippie festival in the making right now for the foley area. Willie nelson is supposed to be there. Its gonna be much more hippie oriented than bayfest and other "The Wharf" concerts. I'll keep info posted.

I was born in B'ham and grew up in Gadsden. I'm not there now...unfortunately...but I plan to move back.
