I've been curious about something for awhile. It seems like all the guys I've gotten sexual with or chatted with claim that the top half of their penis is the most responsive area whether they are circ'd or not. People say the base is hardly sensitive. I can say that when it comes to gentle touch that is true for me as well. However, the base is my greatest source of pleasure during intercourse or masturbation. I'm talking about the very bottom where the testicles attach, actually thought it was coming from the testes at first. It seems to respond to gentle pressure and soft stoking. The sensations are soo good, and I have to slow down or I'll come. It feels almost like the nerves are attached to the muscles that trigger orgasm. It is certainly not a problem, just wondering if other guys experience anything in this area. I feel like I am the only one who has discovered this hot spot, or is this a matter of preference?

 

Not sensitive at the base? Ha, not true with me AT ALL. I absolutely love it when my girlfriend uses her tongue at the base of penis. When she licks from there, to the bottom of my scrotum, it just drives me crazy. But, your boyfriend just probably likes different things.

 

I find the sensitivity at the base seems to increase whenever I approach orgasm. I can only imagine this is a natural response to encourage maximum penetration for maximum efficiency when it comes to depositing semen for conception.

I think what is really happening is that when you pull down the loose skin covering the shaft of the penis you also stimulate the frenulum, the stringy thing in the inverted v of the underside of the glans. When you stretch the frenulum, it increases arousal. All uncut guys, and most cut guys, except those with a very tight circumcision where the frenulum was also removed, have one. I have a loose circumcision, so there is still some loose skin on the underside of my penis when I am fully erect, which helps to stretch the frenulum every time I thrust inwards during intercourse, giving me increased arousal.
