jus wondered on how not make my bubble cheese taste like wet grass could some 1 help me plz

Details, we need details, and pics. We can't help ya fix it if we don't know how ya got to where ya are. From what little ya say it sounds like yer harvesting much too early, or any number of things. Like if the light isn't sufficient then ya have to push the harvest date up somewhat. Or it could be a soil problem, or nutrients. Patience is also required for a good flavored harvest, do ya see my problem now? There are several folks here with great info if we have an idea where to start helping:>)

hairs pop out 15 jan,
amber tri week 7 last week and mre white hairs came thru,
now end of 8th week 8th march ther are about 80% white tri's and 20% amber tri's,is this a lil mre help as i havent got a camera to get pics up.it ses about 8-10 weeks ive gave it water al week 7 an has ad no water since friday last week.

 

alright, ill try and give ya a hand here.......

if your at 20% amber trichomes, not hairs, then you can harvest anytime between now and another week, week and a half. at this time you have a couple options........just clip the plant at the base and hang it that way, clip it at the base and trim off the big fan leaves then hang it, or clip off individual branches and trim them all the way down to their end product. i personally prefer doing the 3rd option, clip individual branches and trim them down to their end product and hanging them all trimmed up.

If you decide to go with the first route and just clip it at the base and hang it without trimming anything...........your plant will dry nice and slow.....which is what your shooting for. the longer the dry the better the smoke in general. when the big fan leaves get crispy and the bud and sugar leaves are still "wet", take off the big crispy fan leaves and re-hang. when the small sugar leaves are pretty much all crispy, trim them off and save 'em for smoking or making edibles or hash later. then put your good, manicured, slightly damp slightly dry buds into brown paper bags. fill each bag about 1/2 full and crimp the top. two times a day gently "comb" through the buds. do this everyday until the buds feel crisp on the outside but still feel just alittle damp on the inside. now is the time to put them into mason jars and put the jars in a dark, cool place. burp your jars once a day (take off the lid and let the buds breathe for 15 min). after a week or two your buds can be smoked and you can start burping the jars maybe once every few days.......or just as you pick buds out to smoke is enough.

if you decide to do the second option then just follow the above but just trim the big fan leaves before you hang the plant.

if you decide to do the last option, trim each branch down to nice manicured buds and hang 'em that way and then just follow the above.......but when you hang it all manicured as soon as the buds are crispy on the outside and alittle wet on the inside put them in the brown paper bags until they seem perfect and then put them in jars. just remember if you take off any leaf that is just a faster drying time.......which you don't necessarily want......like i said earlier, the slower the dry time the better the bud in general.

as long as you pay attention it's a simple and easy process that just gets overlooked alot of the time. if you follow these steps, whichever way you decide to dry 'em, you'll have good tasting buds that don't turn to dust when you break 'em up to smoke 'em. if you don't get it quite right the first time don't worry, it's kind of one of those things you can only learn from experience........and listen to a few pointers along the way.

also, hoping you've been giving them straight water with no nutes for atleast 2 weeks before harvesting..........this allows alot of the built up nutrients to "flush" away from your medium.....also extremely adding to the clean taste in your final product.

i done a 2 part harvest 2 let the lil bottom nugs 2 catch up, the top cola is in my wardrobe drying now,iam please with wot i got frm bubble cheese, wasnt planning on any fing big as i flowerd frm seed 4 quick smoke. fanks you 4 ur heplp

 

i have noticed that a nice long cure will increase the potency by atleast 1/3

 

I was watching some show about the way that south americans harvest their bud

when about 15-20% of your hairs have turned color simply gurdel the plant itself. I think i will try some gurdeling on my next run
