Double Dash was pretty cool b/c you could play two player and work together. I used to play with my nephew a lot.
How can you say that about Pokemon Stadium? Man, I grew up on that shit. lol Maybe that's why I'm so fond of it, come to think.
forgot who said ff8... ff8 is my personal favorite. its so easy to break the battle system. you can beat the game at a very low level if you want. also i been playing harvest moon for snes next it's gonna be ff9 or pokemon for gameboy
I could never find all the enemys to learn them from. one time i put a bunch on one enemy skill materia and then somehow i got another one, equipped it and learned a bunch more skills on that materia. too bad you cant combine them into one materia
Yeah, well I had a universal adapter. But I put it away after the ps2 quit working and my dog found it and chewed it up.
all you really need is big guard, lazer, white wind. the rest is pretty much fluff except for beta, trine, and aqualung im sure you can find an enemy skill FAQ online
back when this game first came out my roomate had the complete walkthrough fully illustrated. It had literally everything. This inch thinck book was really a thing of beauty. I think he paid forty bucks for it or something like that. We followed that walkthrough word for word and got everything there was to do in that game. completely mastered. now its plastered all over the web like wallpaper It's been about ten years since I last saw that roomate or walkthrough.
that's how I was with pokemon. Man..when I was a little kid me and my friends would chill at these 2 benches in the trailer park...drinking chocolate milk and eating apples and shit. just playin pokemon and laugh and smile. Seriously though, I'm getting a tat of charmander because it symbolizes the beauty of that simplistic childhood stuff.
That whole post was just made me really sad. That's going to be the way to tell who the old school gamers are. Kids these days don't even know they sell strategy guides. That being said, I am a notorious online walkthrough user. I still play the shit out of some pokemon. lol Like all the time. My favorite of all time is probably red.
Why would you want to use a strategy guide lol? That's who you know who the REAL old school gamers are, the fun of the game comes from beating it on your own and figuring everything out without any guide or help, at least to me. I remember when I was a kid, me and my friend got Ocarina of Time for the N64, he also got the guide and rushed through the game and finished it way before I did. I always thought it was pointless, the developers create this huge world for you to explore and admire and everyone just wants to rush to the end with a guide and beat the game.
