Hey guys. New here. Not really sure where to go with my question, so figured I'd ask people with experience. I've done MDMA about 5 times or so. After the second or third time, several days after I had something similar to strep throat. Maybe I was exhausted or something, but yea, it started as a sore throat, but then it became worse and it was really painful to swallow. Went to the doc, he gave me some meds to take for a week. The shit went away pretty quickly once I took the antibiotics. Maybe a week or so after, I popped MDMA again, and the same shit started happening after. I thought "no way, this must be a sore throat". So I waited to see if it would go away. But the same thing happened. I went to the doc again. This time he did a swab test, only to tell me that it's not strep. He said gargle with salt and water, it'll go away naturally. I insisted he prescribe me antibiotics so this shit would go away faster. It started fading the next day. Anyways, I took it easy the next time around and only popped one pill this time around. I thought maybe my immune system was vulnerable because of no sleep thanks to the drug. So I figured after my trip, I'll bring my immune system up, eat yogurt, take vitamins and shit. I actually got some decent sleep in too, but in the morning I woke up and I am feeling the same symptoms as before. My throat isn't sore, but there's that lump that I can't swallow. That's how all the previous times started. Has this happened to anyone before? I don't want to be going to my doc every time I wanna trip out. What's bothering is that I can't figure this out. Can anyone shed some light on this? Cheers guys.
When I take a strong serotonergic trip like MDMA I often end up sick afterwards. it's very trying on your body and when you are tripping you are more vulnerable to developing an illness or exacerbating existing ones.
Thats going around. We got that sore throat sickness around here. Feel good then get sick again and it hurts to swallow.
