So I have been curious about this genre for awhile, hearing that it is by far the most popular genre in the book world. I have read many books with relationships in them, and was never that impressed by the romance itself, nor much of a reader of fiction. However, with my new found curiosity I decided to try something different and I picked up a lesbian themed romance even though I'm not lesbian or female. I loved the book and I have been addicted to lesbian romance ever since. The love between two women is ultra beautiful and touching to me. I always shed a tear when I read one. I also like gay male romance as well, but straight romance kind of bores me and I can't relate to it. So if you're a guy who likes romance I'd like to know what you like in the genre. Do you relate to the heroes in romance novels? Do the heroines make you swoon? What is your take on the genre? I'd like recommendations from anyone.
