I'd give 'em a shot - I think they have them here in the city and I know I've seen the guy at the Health Food Store wearing them. He had a high opinion of them... I'm gonna have to give them a shot.

... As for the sticky "flip-flops", they look like they are just designed for minimal use. They look more annoying than comfortable...

You can get them online at outfitters such as REI. Retail outfitters are starting to sell them. Ebay sometimes has open-box ones for much less money.

Some water shoes are even more comfortable, such as JetPilots. They are thinner and more flexible than fivefingers, although they don't have the toe pockets. They are also much less expensive than fivefingers
