I have a bumper sticker that says this phrase "Underpaid? Underwork" Though I've just heard the phrase recently its been a belief of mine all my life. Whats your opinion on the concept?
I believe that a person should perform the job hired to do to the best of his or her ability, within reason. No need to try and kill yourself over something small and unimportant. That can actually be wasteful. I believe that there are probably a lot of people out there who do believe they are underpaid for the job but still perform less work than they actually get paid for. I was raised differently. *shrug*
ATM unfortunately I work for a big corporation, so while I'll do what's required of me to get my paycheck, don't expect me to do anymore for them.
Nope, I reckon its cutting your nose off to spite your face. You should generally do your best... within reason.
I see it this way. If someone pays you $7.50, how many grapes will you give them. You'll give them $7.50 worth of grapes.
