I read bcmama's herb thread and decided to make a rosemary tea to help with dandruff and keep me a bit less oily. So I went to the store, asked for rosemary, and they gave me rosemary oil. I just read more of the herb thread and realized I was supposed to get the herb not the oil so I would like to know if I can just use the oil and if so, how many drops would one guestimate or suggest. Thank you very much

I've never tried using the oil. I would try putting maybe 3 drops ina big tub of water... thats' about how much I use of tea tree oil when I add it. But I really have no clue. I'd just go buy the actual rosemary.

definitely dilute it or it will irritate your skin.

Cool, i would like to get some of the oil at some point, I have only ever used the herb itself. I think it would be fine in whatever mix you are making. Probably use about 3 drops like daisy said, which is what I do with tea tree when making a deep cleanse.
