cut out candy and sugar except for fruits
eat vegetables, especially green leafy ones, i heard they have alot of nutrients and vitamins.

First of all, you are not a "goner". :p
But I don't recommend just jumping into a radically new diet.
Start slow by getting more exercise a little at a time.
It sounds like you know what junk you should cut back on...For goodness sake, eat some veggies!

Premature wrinkles tend to have a strong genetic link, however they can be exacerbated by poor lifestyle (too much booze, not enough rest, smoking) and poor diet.

If you haven't already, see a doctor before taking advice from any forum or anything on the internet for that matter.

    Good health and good luck!

    Eat real food, ffs.

In a way I find vegetarians and vegans who do it for ethical reasons admirable, but lets not kid ourselves into thinking that theyre the ideal diets for your health. A moderate amount of (preferably organic) animal products is healthy.

But for fucks sake, eat real food.

Yeah, definitely talk to your doctor about this, and like zombiewolf said, don't just jump into it, if you're really set on going vegan, go vegetarian first, and I'd even slowly go into that.

And like Stabby said, veganism isn't necessarily the ideal diet for you. However, a vegetarian diet will normally lower cholesterol and blood pressure levels. When I ate meat I was on the borderline of high blood pressure, and now as a vegetarian it is significantly lower, which is great, since high BP runs in my family. :)

Drinking water is great, and you can even try teas or other non-sugary drinks. The rest of your diet kinda sounds like the stereotypical american's which is BAD. Eat the veggies and fruits! They are your friends!!! They will do a lot better than the junk food.

It's better but it's not just what you eat but also timings and combinations of those foods.
Hear are some tips I hope you like:-
Consume 2-3Litres of water each day, mostly in the mornings a little before exercise and more after.
Best time of the day to exercise is the morning before you eat anything. This is because your stomach is empty and your body will be forced to use reserved energy/fat instead.
Starting with a 20min walk is good, or a bike ride, swimming or light running. Skipping is also good anything that stimulates the cardiovascular system, the longer you can maintain the raised heart beat the better (up to 20-30mins) building up slowly to it.

The best time of the day to eat fruit is in the mornings after exercise. It helps to cleanse your stomach and bowels in a way it flushes your system and because it only takes 20-30 mins to digest the body requires very little energy to do so so you have full energy to start the day. It also has a high level of glucose so don't consume more than two pieces with having diabetes.

Eat a lot of grains, good quality cereals from health stores, if you make your own cereal it still works out the same price but 100 times healthier.. aim for things like:-
sesame seeds, flax/linseeds, wheatgerm, amaranth, physilim,
paw paw, shredded coconut, saltanas, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nass bran,
organic oat flakes with oat milk (soy and rice are not as good, almond milk is great but expensive).

Vegetables should be a given, sandwiches are good with combos of; tomato, spinach or lettuce, avocado, dried basil, dried oregano (both have higher levels of calcium) olives and cucumber on wholemeal bread. IF you can find black strap molasses at your health store that is liquid nutrient gold.

Tomato and spinach are daily musts in my diet!
Meals containing food such as; extra virgin olive oil, garlic, onion, chilli, chicken, fish, brown rice, pasta,
carrot, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, broccoli, corn, chopped spinach, mushrooms, fresh basil, olives are great.

Combining any meat with starches like potatoes, rich pasta shouldn't be a daily habit.. the stomach requires a different type of stomach acid to break down either well enough to be able to absorb the nutrients to the best ability.
    ------------------------------------
Deep breathing exercises help a great deal with skin, energy and overall well being. Most people only breathe shallow using only 2/3rds of their lungs, it's important to breathe deeply each morning to cleanse out the stale air of your lungs, before exercise is best.
I also do it before and after having a 'smoke'.
Slowly breathe in an out as far as you can for a few minutes each morning, good to combine them with yoga stretches/poses as well.

be positive and stay focused on your goals and you'll kick ass!

Hi Crystal Moon, great decision on making some changes. I agree in that I wouldn't go full-steam straight away. Usually when people do this they find it too overwhelming and they eventually loose interest. The second problem with this is that the body actually gets quite shocked and you can feel sick for a period of time while your body reacts to the massive changes.

I would take it step-by-step and introduce a new concept every couple of weeks and make it fun! Make a new task that you are going to do and reward yourself afterwards.

In regards to your diet maybe try taking some organic multi-vitamins to help support you throughout the process.

By the way, one of the biggest propagated myths is that we should be drinking 2-3L of water a day. This is wrong on 2 accounts: 1. Not everyone is built the same. Some people require more, some less. 2. We should not just be drinking 2-3L of "water" a day, we should be drinking "fluids". That means including drinks that give you minerals and electrolytes.

Hope that helps and good luck!

You will change your life! I would also suggest starting with a vegetarian diet because you may get frustrated and give up because of the lack of dairy products. I would detox your body. Try drinking teas if you need some flavor.

In addition to MM 18's answer, you can't replace something with nothing. That being food or conciousness. It is simply not possible to abstain from someting without adding something else.
When on a diet whether it is vegetarian or not you should always focus on that your diet is in you mind. Remember that a psychologist can do more to your physics than a work out trainer. Try Swimming, it is more gentle to your body than many thing else.

If you want to try out a vegan diet remember that you also need protein and fat. Salad is good for you, but eventually it only fills up your somach with fibres and water. You will need something more hearty. If you only eat low energy food you will start burning off your muscles before the fat and that is not how a diet is meant to be.

Coconut milk is a good way to supply yourself with fat. For proteins you can eat beans or lentils... i can supply you with some tasty recipes. In any case do eat a variety of food because it won't help only eating vitamins, fibres, and water.

    Regard

Stay away from red meat, fried foods. Drink lots of water.
    And take vitamins...
Also it depends on your skin care routine.

You always need to wear sunscreen daily...

Vegan diets can be rough. But go for it I guess...
