best photograph hosting site?

not sure if this question has been asked before, but where is the best site to store/host your photos and is it safe to do that?
i'm new at this digital photography world.

 

I think Flickr is a good choice, you can store and share your photos there. For the more 'creative' stuff you can take a look at deviantart .

 

I agree with davey. I'm on Flickr and, for my needs, it's fine.

If you are willing to spend some money (25$/y or 68$/3y) and you're not just looking for some storage space, there's also photo.net. The limited registration is free. ONe of the best thing of photo.net is the forum that is HUGE.
