    Hi everyone,

I was reading through a blog and I encountered this new hobby for kids which is doing yoga at their early age. I found some good reviews about with moms telling their experiences. But I don't know what's really the trend about it among kids although I found some yoga instructional videos (e,g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ibi2QIHc1Zw ) It seems interesting though given that yoga has proven beneficial effects to its many practitioners. What do you think about that?

Any exercise for children is a great idea. So yeah, I like it.

Football is a little cooler though isn't it? I did sports when I was younger, but they had to be cool ones :p

Snowboarding will get kids to exercise like theres no tomarrow, I know because that's how it was for me, and that's how it is for me now too.

    I'm skiing come this Wednesday!

Would love to try snowboarding again but tried it once and I literally freaked the fuck out. The idea of the feet being stuck to a board, and then being pushed down a slippery hill quickly became an awful one :p

Needless to say I fell, took the board off, then lost the board after watching it go flying down the slope and off the edge.

So yes, I ski. But I still envy you.

I'd definitely would want to try skiing too and more likely the kids, but we don't have snow here or even indoor ski. Perhaps when I visit some snow land, I'll see to it that I try.

About yoga, I just recently got interested about it. So much that searching made me stumble upon such yoga for kids. I've never seen a kid doing though, only in pictures and videos. lol. Anyway, I hope many parents would influence their kids into sports and other fitness activities. I'd do the same if I ever become a parent.

i went to an awesome school from kindergarten until 3rd grade where we got to go to a class called "creative movement" once a week, where we did yoga and learned about interpretive dance. we loved it and it was great for getting a bunch of kids to exercise without getting wound up like we would've had we been playing ball or racing or something. and lots of those kids lived in high stress environments, so it was great for their mental health.
