On my break yesterday, I went to go buy a chicken sandwich. When I handed the clerk my money, he said "Keep it". I inquired as to why, and he told me it was "No charge". Just one of those things to remind you that there still are generous people in the world. Although it continues to befuddle me as to why he wouldn't accept my money. I don't look poor, and I'm not a regular customer. Eh, whatever. I won't question it anymore.
thats how they get ya hooked.. first one is free.. then you can't live without it.. ooh wait.. you said a sammich... not crack.
I had a free lunch once at olive garden. My meal came out 2 minutes later than the rest so it was on the house. Then later I got way too drunk and puked it all up. Life, eh?
one time i was eating dinner at a denny's with my family and when we went to pay the waitress told us and old couple already paid for out meal. she said they commented on how well behaved we were(2 adults with 5 kids.. doesnt happen often). i love when these things happen around me not for the free food and stuff but just the thought of how their still are nice people in the world that dont need thanks or recognition.
he either hates the restraunt so is like fuck them until he gets fired, wants to be your friend, wants to get in your pants, or was just trying to make the day better for a random stranger either way made you smile didn't it
