THC isn't soluble in water, so no, making a tea wouldnt work.. You could throw some buds into some high proof liquor for 2 weeks(shake once a day or so) to make some "Potka". Or make some brownies or some other nice magical treats.

yeah, it'd be much easier to just bake with it. then you can throw it in the freezer for a rainy day!

nar you can make a drink with it. you need to heat it up in milk though, not water. the more creamy the milk, the better of course.

and theres that indian drink with milk and does it have alchohol?

I think it's just milk, then a bunch of herbs and seasonings, and of course, the magic herb, ganja. :)

edit: I did some googling, and found some links

First, an Indian recipie for bhang (marijuana laced milk beverage)
    http://leda.lycaeum.org/?ID=4774

Then, a recipie for a more basic milk beverage
    http://boards.marihemp.com/boards/msg21x791.shtml

And last, this one made me laugh. Can you imagine it?

You could probably downsize the recipe, just make sure you do it evenly. Like, if you use 1/4 the weed, use 1/4 of everything.

When making bhang always use thick milk...Cream is best, but too rich for me :p

you could probably make tea if you like milk with your tea. that way you could enjoy the flavor of chronic tea and the effect.

if you wanted to use just chronic tea it would probably work reguardless of the soluability of thc but you wouldnt be able to get as much effect and you would probably have to use more secret ingredient to make it effective.

if your talking about tea as water infused with plant extracts, then your an idiot since it has already been established that thc doesnt leech into water enough.

its only a drink, why not jsut make it plain with milk and drink it?

why would you need to mix it with water?

the original question was for "a weed tea". since thc is fat soluable you could make tea and get effect if you used milk, since thc is somewhat soluable in hot water you could concievably make weed tea that way(with less effect) and maybe simmer it down to concentrate it. if you read the original post you would know that he asked specifically for a tea. if this is too deep for you to comprehend then fuck you i dont have the time to dumb it down to your level.

Yeah, but it won't work well in tea, hot water or not. So it doesn't matter if he's asking for tea...it can't really be done. Just make the milk drink. Geez...

yeh exactly. it doesnt matter if hes asking for tea, its already been established in the thread that its not efficient. and i think youll find that you are the shallow one if you assumed that since he asked for weed tea, he must have meant a traditional tea only and not jsut a simple weed baseds drink. he just wants to get stoned in a new way, and 'tea' is generally a term that jsut covers drinks that have leeched some sort of extract out of an organic substance.

Quite a waste, because THC doesn't work so good with water, but well it's a longer trip!
Better do it with Milk or Butter, and put that into the tea!

That site seems to be using very high concentrations...

    http://boards.marihemp.com/boards/msg21x791.shtml

2-3 sips, that nothing. Can probly use 1/4 of the weed and same amount of everything else. Also, reducing amounts of ingredients, in this case milk, can affect cooking times. May be better to substitute some of the milk with cream.

    :)
