Hey everybody, I'm 17 and I'm from Paris. My parents are from the US so I speak both French and English. I'm on this site simply because i realize that I really identify with hippies, in their way of being and in their ideals, and I find that not enough people today really move their asses to make things better, especially in the youth. People don't sacrifice their own benefits to make others happy enough, people don't try at being generous and altruistic. I think there needs to be a revolution, a non violent one, something like the 60s even if not exactly the same, because repeating the 60s is impossible, but pursuing it and continuing what it started is a must! We have entered an era of shitty music, and great assivity on the part of the youth, and i would be damned to see my life go by and see no change, change in people's mentalities and values. more respect, more love, more originality, more creativity, more acceptance, more open-mindedness, and towards nature we need more appreciation and respect. but most of the people i see today are far from these values, so i'm looking for the mature and consciencious people who really want to unite and change things and would be ready to put the foot in the door. So please, share ideas, share music, share thoughts! Peace
