As the topic says, I really just wanted to share my happiness with you all. Two days ago, i FINALLY dreaded the rest of my hair. Ive had about half of it for 1 1/2 year, so it was about freakin time! Anyway, heres a picture with low quality, but atleast its a picture!
Why didn't you just let it dread on it's own? I attempted to back comb but gave up and let the rest just do it's own thing and it is working wonders.
Sarah: because it takes toooo long. I have thick, strickt hair, it dreads easily, but it doesnt look nice. Veeery happy now, though Ill post new and better pictures soon, and after some weeks! Thanks, cutiepies!
here is a better picture, though not the best. Ive had them for a month tomorrow! Theyre dreading just fine, and they look awesome! edit: i took two better pictures with my cam. Its been one month tomorrow since i dreaded it all. Im in love!
I went to a place called studio africa here in Oslo. They are really cheap (i paid 2000 NOK, thats about 250 euro) and they used a method i havent seen before. First they roughly backcombed my hir, and then they started from the bottom and worked theire way up to the top with a crochetingneedle (if thats how its written). Theyre already really tight, so i would think that its one of the most effective methods. Mine are, as i said, one month old, and already they look really, really good
I actually like crocheted dreads, maybe not on me, but on some people they look good. yooo are lovely!
